[Bug 111018] Monitor goes to sleep and does not get up
Public bug reported: When my computer is iddle for some time, my monitor goes to sleep (even if I have told Ubuntu not to put it to sleep). I use Ubuntu 7.04 Herd 4. I do not use a composite manager. I use GNOME- Metacity. Yes, when it freezes I can yo to a command line. ( 2 ) By the way, when I decrease the volume until it reaches the minimum (silent) and does not freeze, I cannot increase it using the keyboard. I have to do it manually with gnome's the volume bar.
