[Bug 260733] Re: static IP address assignment does not work in Ibex Alpha 4

2008-09-15 Thread Guillaume Seguin
For what it's worth, I had the exact same problem and creating
/etc/network/run/ifstate (and so the /etc/network/run/ directory)
"fixed" it.

[Bug 60631] Re: [edgy]Crash opening firefox

2006-09-16 Thread Guillaume Seguin
Confirmed here on i386, French locale

LANG=C fixes the problem, but it's not a nice fix :)
It looks like mozilla-firefox-locale-* weren't updated for beta2.

Hm, I did not close it, I just meant that the patch added before was
correct. Fix is released, but not commited. Am I wrong?

[Bug 59244] Re: gnome-session logout hang with a composite manager

2006-09-16 Thread Guillaume Seguin
Oops sorry :/
Anyway, I don't agree with the priority, since this prevents
gnome-power-manager window to be displayed (it's quite hard to select
restart/suspend & al, since you have to do it "blindly")

[Bug 134879] Re: wacom-tools 0.7.9-2 in gutsy

2007-11-20 Thread Guillaume Seguin
Bumping this one, my tablet wouldn't work with Hardy with the 0.7.7 driver
since there are problems with Xorg 7.3. Upgrading to 0.7.9-2 fixed it (I
basically just bumped the changelog and threw the newest linuxwacom tarball
contents in the current debian package, rebuilt it, and it worked).
Thanks in advance!

I have just fixed this bug upstream (hopefully). The bug wasn't in ccsm,
but in compizconfig-backends-gconf.

[Bug 116870] Re: [gutsy] GSlice: g_thread_init() Warning messages

2007-07-07 Thread Guillaume Seguin
Erm, just to add my $0,02, this warning has been displayed in all the glib
development releases for a while and is hidden in stable release, hence the
fact that one doesn't ever see it usually.
And for the record, it affects all pyGTK apps, and it's definitely not a
problem most often, but a "stupidity" from glib developers (that's what I have
been told by one of the pyGTK core developers).
