[Bug 1072397] Re: [Dell System XPS L502X, Realtek ALC665, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all
I've the same system and the sound card. I've installed Ubuntu 16.04. I am able to get audio from speakers and headphones but not when I insert a HDMI cable connected to my TV. The Video output is perfectly fine though. I'm using NVidia graphic driver(proprietary and tested version 361.42). The HDMI profile in sound settings is missing too. [Bug 321964] [NEW] Problem with skype audio
Public bug reported: I know skype is not in the official repo, but still it is one of the most widely used package in Ubuntu I believe I am running Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty alpha 3 with kernel version 2.6.28-5.5 and I am unable to use skype 2.0.0.72 audio; other multimedia softwares work without a problem though. Skype gives an error 'Problem with audio'. I tried changing the audio device settings of both Ubuntu and Skype, but none seems to make it work. I think it has got something to do with the new audio management system in 9.04. Hope u fix it before final release.. [Bug 221255] Re: Flash player in firefox segfaults
I am having this same problem with Firefox 3.0b5 on Ubuntu 8.04. The flashplugin-nonfree version is 9.0.124.0ubuntu2. I don't even have to wait for a second or third page with flash; I get a segfault at the first flashy page I visit. -- Flash player in firefox segfaults https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221255 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 222401] [NEW] flashplugin-nonfree segfaults
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree I discovered that Firefox v3.0b5 on Ubuntu 8.04 crashes when I tried to open a web page with Flash content, if the "Shockwave Flash" plugin [flashplugin-nonfree v9.0.124.0ubuntu2] is enabled. The error displayed at the terminal is a "Segmentation fault". Example web pages are: (1) your Gmail inbox (uses flash for chatting): http://mail.google.com/mail/?source=navclient-ff#inbox (2) Ars Technica (has flash ads): http://arstechnica.com/index.ars. Epiphany (v2.22.1.1) on Ubuntu 8.04 uses the same flash plugin and it too crashes, with the same error, while trying to load these pages. Firefox v2.0.0.3 on Ubuntu 8.04 also crashes if it uses this plugin. (This version of firefox was working all right in Ubuntu 7.10 with an older version of the flash plugin.) The problem vanishes if I disable the flash plugin. [Bug 393008] Re: [Karmic] power management icon says laptop is connected to power when it isn't
Just to add one more observation. I am facing the problem described in this bug only after a wakeup from sleep. It is working perfectly just after the boot. Off-topic: I've been forcefully sleeping my laptop (Toshiba Portege M900) and waking it up, as a work around to get my fan working, after every boot. (The fan problem is a long story, better not to explain here. For more details on that plz visit - http://lwn.net/Articles/244595/). In short, for me, if the battery indicator is perfect then fan is not, and vice versa. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/393008 Title: [Karmic] power management icon says laptop is connected to power when it isn't To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/devicekit-power/+bug/393008/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
