[Bug 298166] Re: 8.10 much slower than 8.04 and less stable

2008-11-18 Thread gerard
Hi

something new : I came back to 8.04, but it's about the same now (not
before !). I think it comes from Nautilus after recent updates on both
versions because, actually, from my (small) level of knowledge, seems to
be the commun point to all my slowdown problems. Maybe a thinking track
for you ??

Another point maybe helpful for you on both 8.04 and 8.10:

When I depress PrintScreen, rather long to operate, the longest time
delay is when I want to give a name to this print screen, it takes
several seconds before the new name comes up to the screen

I used

<http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19559308/libsmbclient_3.2.3-1ubuntu3_i386.deb>

I didn't know what to do with the .debdiff file & I didn't have the time
to work it out (I had to get to work) - probably real simple.

the libsmbclient_3.2.3-1ubuntu3_i386.deb
<http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19559308/libsmbclient_3.2.3-1ubuntu3_i386.deb>
worked with just a double click.

Cheers

[Bug 305115] [NEW] beep on toggle key disappears after every reboot

Public bug reported:

Hi

I give you the path in French, I'll try to make my "best translation"
just after

Systeme > preference > clavier > onglet accessibilite > bouton reaction

Should be approximately in English:
System > preference > keyboard > accessibility tab > audio reaction button >
beep when toggle key depressed

Actually, I've got to tick "beep when toggle key depressed" box after
each reboot. Getting a little bit on my nerves!!! and moreover why does
it disappear?

[Bug 298166] [NEW] 8.10 much slower than 8.04 and less stable

2008-11-14 Thread gerard
Public bug reported:

Hi

I installed 8.10 from scratch and found out that, at least for 2 applications,
it is much slower than 8.04, i.e.
PrintScreen very long to respond
and Gthumb very long to open

Should have enough memory because I've got 1.2 G

Moreover, I've frozen many times, which never happened with Hardy, no
other choice than depressing the reset button in order to reboot.

I come back to 8.04, sorry

[Bug 298166] Re: 8.10 much slower than 8.04 and less stable

2008-11-14 Thread gerard
OK, I don't exactly know what to add, but lest's try

1- PRINTSCREEN when I depress that key, it takes long long seconds
before I get a responding screen, approx 1/2 time more than with Hardy

2- Gthumb same thing before the photo is opened, several seconds

For the freezing, it is more difficult to discribe because it's when an
application did not reply with several others opened. Sometimes, after
forcing the non replying one to shut-down, everything's blocked. No
action possible neither w/ mouse nor keyboard

[Bug 392928] Re: Dialog windows shift when they resize themselves

2009-06-28 Thread Gerard
I have similar issues with emacs popup windows. Each time the pop back
up they have moved a bit to the left and down. Thsi doesn't happen
under metacity. As best I can tell, this is somehow related to the fact
that compiz doesn't reparent windows to handle decoration. I think the
amount of shift is equal to the decoration around the window. Just a
theory.

[Bug 272804] Re: Video Frequency too high

2008-09-25 Thread gerard
OK, I'm ready to do it but I've got a "technical" problem.

How to make a copy for you, from Ctrl Alt F1, in command line mode?

If I type the command: cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
I reach directly the end, how to make a copy of the full log?

I found a solution, but looks like stone age, hope you can give me a
better one!!

I type: ls | less /var/log/Xorg.0.log
so I can read page by page
I take a screen picture with my digital camera
I send you the pictures, but it's a lot, I counted 52 screen shots to do.
I'm not sure I'll survive after that!!! I'll get crazy far before!!

What can I do else,
e.g. a command to send the whole file to my USB key for instance

[Bug 272804] Re: Video Frequency too high

2008-09-25 Thread gerard
Thx so much seb for your help

For seb and Timo

Surprisingly, I've been lucky this morning because, from my live CD, I
got through.

So I send you the result of /var/log/Xorg.0.log when it works fine.

It will be interesting to compare it, after rebooting and trying to
make it fail, with the log corresponding to "video frequency too high".
This will be the next step.

[Bug 272804] Re: Video Frequency too high

2008-09-24 Thread gerard
Very strange

I've just boot on today's latest version : live CD 23/09/2008

The first boot got through nicely, no video problem, but after, the next
5 trials failed, same message "video frequency too high".

And even though I reboot from a shutdown computer or from a restart
computer

How come? it works once and then in failure again, what's up

[Bug 185729] Re: nautilus is unable to copy folders from samba

2008-05-18 Thread Gerard
Sorry guys - I have to "me too " on this one. I have a similar setup
using a D-Link NAS. Gutsy was working fine, Hardy is no good.

What I did notice was in ~/.gvfs the volume exists and I can copy etc
from there ok. it is only through the "normal" file management that I
get the same result as mentioned here.

That is what makes me suspect gvfs.

Good luck.

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-01 Thread Gerard
Hi to all im new here and in Kubuntu 8.10 and excuse my english.
Ive just installed Kubuntu 8.10 and I came here from: kde bugs and it happened
to me the same: I dragged a link to a linux blog to the desktop and I noticed
that dont appear in the folder "Desktop", why? It has to drag to the Desktop
field to that appear in Desktop folder?
Besides, as referred above, I just installed Firefox 3 (as Konqueror 4.13 dont
show the plugin/function Archive web to save webs with pictures and dont play
flash videos even flash plugin is installed) from Adept Manager and added a
Firefox icon to the panel. When I restart my PC I get the error Fatal Error:
Plasma Crash: (see attachment)
I read the solution: remove ~/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc but I don't
know how to type ~ and what it means, which folder I mean, and I dont know what
is this file, what it do and Im afraid that what will happen if I delete it.
I'll loose all the icons in the panel ? And what this only happened whith
Firefox 3 and not with other icons? Is cause firefox 3 is from Ubuntu and the
others are from Kubuntu ?
Please help me, Im new in Kubuntu 8.10, idont know how to do orders with
keyboard in Linux (only DOS) and everytime I load KDE the same error appears
and I can't use it.

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-06 Thread Gerard
Ok I read in Wikipedia about ~ and says: Tiene como correspondencia en el
código ASCII 126. That means has to be typed Alt + 126 ? In Windows has a
Character Map but in LInux I dont see it any.
when I copied that error was the lines that appeared me at startup and at the
end says: Adjunte (enclose? I translate from spanish) la siguiente información
a su informe de error. So I enclose this. Ok backtrace mean how to reproduce a
crash?
The only way to run Adept is from Alt F2 but appears (sorry I don have time to
translate all):

I click on Aceptar and then appears information of Adept and below
various files that dont know what means. In which folder I search
kdebase-bin" and "kdebase-plasma" packages ?

Thanks for the links (why is the help separated of this?) I need to read a
lot...
Yes first Time I installed Kub8.10 Adept says when I connect internet that 245
pakages where available and I installed all!

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-06 Thread Gerard
Perhaps do you mean that is recommended to update to KDE 4.2 Beta? But
if I have problems with this official version I'll die with a beta! I
never installed one! I read on
http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-4.2-beta2.php that has

"Significant refinements of Plasma and KWin, the KDE workspace

The KDE 4.2 series will offer considerable improvements in stability,
feature-completeness and performance over its predecessors in the KDE4 series.
The Plasma desktop shell has gained many feature that users were still missing
in earlier KDE4 revisions."

All of this means that I at least get rid of this annoying message/crash/bug ?
I'll loose all my data and programs/apps in KDE 4.1.3?

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME, IM REALLY MESSED (confused) AND DONT KNOW WAHT
TO DO !

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-15 Thread Gerard
MaxSolo=thanks, Finally I updated to KDE 4.2 Beta 2 and lets me adding the
damn Firefox 3 icon, as other like Sys Settings. I dont understand how a
function that worked wrell in KDE 4.1.2 under Kub 8.04 not worked in KDE 4.1.3
under Kub 8.10...an update is to fix bugs not creating new ones isnt it?
And now I can see other icons of folder I choose, and I can resize the field
that contains all. I can now create documents, folders and shortcuts in it. But
most of plasmoids dont work, and jams KDE, forcing me to exit with CtrlAlt
(thanks that exists!). I can only add a Calendar adn the default Notes
(postit). Testing widgets I delete by accident the Task Manager and adding it
causes blok sistem, I exit and restart X but there isnt! I have to change apps
from Alt Tab. And besides a little bug that Ive been observed from KDE 4.1.3
and remains on KDE 4.2 Beta 2 is that if I choose 1024ppp resolution (1200 is
too little things and fonts) when I restat KDE sets resolution to max (1200pp).
Dolphin has many bugs when sending items to garbage or moving it from one
folder view to other (when splittting), Ill will search in KDEbugs for that.

Harald SHITter (or maybe I say crapper?), I call you like this as you
call "crap load of pointless information" my last post, so that saddens
me cause I wrote it with all my soul...Youre right to say thats not the
place to say all of that but that was a GRATITUDE FOR EAGLE FOR HELPING
ME (a bit long yes), prob you find it pointless but I guarantee that not
for me and Eagle. Were humans (remember? UBUNTU IS LINUX FOR HUMAN
BEINGS, you use it?) and humans when someone helps us is POLITE
(especially for 1st time) to THANK hte other. I dont know a crap when
you say: "also, so you don't leave knowing nothing more than before" and
then "ask google for 'ABI compability', that is what is broken, and can
only be fixed by recompiling the appropriate plasmoids." Even reaading
what Wikipedia says to ABI I dont understand, again, a shit. Can you
explain it for me here or in other place? Mail..but, ey dont waorry man,
seems that was fixed when updating. Updating, thats Im gonna do now I
see icon Adept is changing alerting me that new updates are available...

OK I have KDE 4.1.3 version, i saw it i help< acerca de.. more eassier way than

Since I post this more updates Adept has done but none to fix that crash, so I
read on http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-4.2-beta2.php this: "KDE 4.2
Beta 2 is not recommended for everyday use..."
What? and what is recommended for? You say me I must upgrade but take a look on
that! I dont dare to update after reading that!
"This beta will be followed up by a release candidate on January 6th..."
What is a release candidate? OK Im reding this:
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fases_del_desarrollo_de_software#Versi.C3.B3n_candidata_a_definitiva
but hey! its 11 January and still is in Beta? What happened? And there
appear that a Beta is for a beta tester, aperson that have knowledge
icomputing, I dont have much..so after reading all that I dont think that I
must to update, or become a beta tester...

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-13 Thread Gerard
Yeah Youre sorry Eagle, but you didnt answer the most simple things,
perhaps you find it elemental, but note that Im using Linux-Kubuntu ONLY
from August 2008. Perhaps I dont have time/feel like to learn the
basics. I was so busy and tired of Windows bugs and to ask for help in
english (as you noted Im spanish) that I changed to Linux thinking there
dont happen. Altough removing Windows XP (yes its wrong and ugly talk of
ite here) virus is simple (not adware), seemed like last yeaar I did a
Windows registry cleaning (Thank Godness, or Saint Stallman..that Linux
dont have !) and I ruined the registry. I think that was the reason for
everytime I click on an icon all dissapear (sys tray) and restart, I
think cse I dont know cause anybody in Avast said me the reason, perhaps
I didnt find well, but Im tired again...

Well and what this have to do with this problem?, okok, when Windows XP
(and I swear that I HATE to mention this name, Furthermore here) crashed
it dont have any tool to report the BIG BUG, so I have to sort out my
life in the Interminable (or Neverending?I dont know the difference...)
INTERNET, making find the solution a hard work, not to mention post a
message in Micro$oft forums...But with Kubuntu, KDE bug system
management this is more simple and easy to find a solution ! This is the
1st time I post to ask for help in Linux (many other things I resolved
for myself last year during installlation) and youre the 1st person to
answer me. And though you didnt answer me all the basic things I
discover it and inform me from myself. And I do it cause I LOVE FREE
SOFTWARE AND ALL RELATED. Without this love and enthusiasm (the same all
free-contributor, and same I feel for other scienc)es) and the help of
Wikipedia and Wordreference (for translations) I cant do things so basic
as put a ~ (thanks to Wiki, in my keyboard dont appear and has to be
typed with AltGr+4) and even understand computing terms of bug, debug,
debugger, backtrace, SIGSEGV and more...So although In the beggining I
was a bit dissappointed and confused for all that bugs-find solution
then I think perhaps (again) you wnt to I find the maximum of answers
from myself and (,as Morpheus to Neo), show the gates (links) to I find
more of them...So I appreciate that and thank you (and while I'm at it
to ALL CONTRIBUTORS OF FREE SOFTWARE HERE AND IN THE WORLD) for the
help, so please Eagle, dont apologize youself, Im ashamed...Your a
master for me (the 1st in Linux), and a master never (or almost) have to
apologize..sure youre doing a great job, but anybody is GOD or perfect
so Come on! Keep doing good like that!

So after all of this (I know that is not the place but I really need to
say it for 1st time) and descend to Earth, regarding to this BUG, Ill
say that at last I found that f...e file! I didnt know that Linux
(like Winbugs) have HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS! Probably cause I didnt see
them..hehe. So I learnt (stepbystep) how to put ~ first and then how to
make visible those files and appeared! (in fact when then I realised
that I can copypaste all the location, but I want to learn from basics,
and hidden files appeared too). I deleted it, restart (close sesion) and
the VOILA! THATS MY DESKTOP AGAIN ! SO THANKS AGAIN, EAGLE MY SAVIOR !

Although it took me more than 10 days to fin the solution (I posted my
1st Linux ask post the 1st day of the year) Im happy to all of said
above, for baing less ignorant writing english (yah i know that Its a
long time to speech well, it tooks me more than hour to write this),
knowing computer operation? and find (with your help ofcourse) the
solution of the problem. But I continue to learn (now more motivated)
and Ill visit the links you gave me for search for more complete help.
In this forums there arre DOCUMENTATION ABOUT KUBUNTU AND LINUX IN
GENERAL ? I hope that at last ONE of them can be in SPANISH...or I
search Saint Google...

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-14 Thread Gerard
NOO ! 8 hours have last my joy ! This morning when I woke up
I started to custom my desktop again, but I was cautious and ONLY ADD A
FAST START FIREFOX ICON TO THE PANEL. I restarted and then CRASH again !
It is like when an horror movie is ending and suddenly the monster its
still alive and scares you ! OKOK, relax, breath,calmm...uf, I went to
~/.kde/share/config/ and DADA! the plasma-appletsrc possessed file is
here again !! How? KDE created it again when I altered my desktop? I
deleted it again but then I think that this is not the solution, or the
bugfix not? as I cant just add a simple icon to the panel (not a
plasmoid to the desktop). It should have been a difference to icons and
plasmoids, so wont this type of crasshes happen again ? I examined the
problematic file searching some line that appear Firefox 3 but I cant
find it (I think in removing that line should fix it, but then I
realised that though therre will be one, probably KDE created it
again?). So I think that the only solution is that I have to be brave
and update to KDE 4.2 Beta 2, ill think that in KDE.org appear
information on how to do it, as Adept dont update from KDE 4.1.3. As
this is a beta I'll backip my data, just in case...

[Bug 258861] Re: Plasma crashes with some widgets

2009-01-20 Thread Gerard
When I login appeared that (see attachment):
This bug isnt linked to kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu). Would you like to report it
here as well?
This is the 1st time appearing this why? Oh I hope that I didnt mistaken...

Eagle: What? Do you read my last post ? "I updated to KDE 4.2 RC1 (KDE
4.1.96)". After 6 posts and updating you ask me waht plasmoid crashes? Your
help comes late, do you read that post?:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase-workspace/+bug/258861/comments/20
Is the Task Manager, perhaps you refer to next post, in wich I dont mention it,
sorry. But, I repeat, when updating to last ver that bug and others as adding
Firefox icon to panel was fixed. At last ! I dont test other widgets that
failled in prev versions, again as effects, I dont dare...I need the computer
for work and I was thinking, if this wasnt fixed, using Windows XP again. But
now at least (last?) I can work.

Harald: man, I dont understand you again: "Push off bug"?

As I see some confusion of all this bugs and versions related I do a
little review from KDE versions from KUBUNTU 8.04 to 8.10 bugs and
actions taken:

KUBUNTU 8.04 with KDE 3.5.9 as default (updated to 10 and then to KDE 4.1.2)
- Task Manager failed and System Tray causing a complete panel caos, same on
KDE4 (prhaps cause sharin files/folders with kde3?)

KUBUNTU 8.10 with KDE 4.1.3
Plasma crahhses when adding fast start icons to taskbar and dragging shortcuts
to desktop.
update to KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta 2)
Fixed all above but still some plasmoids crashes (CPU, net, RAM, etc) and the
Task Manager
(I didnt update to KDE 4.1.3 as I updated to KDE 4.2 Beta 2)
update to KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 RC1)
What the hell? After updating and restarting a fatal crahsh like above appear !
That is an update or an UNUPDATE? And this is a Release Candidate? I thought
dissapointed...
I delete (as said here) plasma-appletsrc file, nononon, I move to other folder
for if it worse...restart and crash again!
As in previous crashes I learnt to control KDE and lauch apps with AltF2 that
wasnt too bad...in fact my sistem runs faster as KDE is not loaded!!
Ok the next day updates where available of some apps but ey! Wait a moment,
some apps show ver 4.185 insted of 4.1.96. How it is possible if I just updated
from last verson? Ok I clik on update, restart and the desktop appear ! a new
plasma-appletsrc was created (I must to delete older?). I add icons to pamnel
and worked well. Something that annoys me is that when I choose Leave from
right click menu or sutdown from KMenu dont Shtudown! Instead exits sesion and
I have to select shutdown from KDM menu or Alt S and select (again!) Shutdown!
3 or 4 times! This didnt happen before so is a bug?

Bye.

[Bug 342156] Re: Jaunty : frozen mouse on all my PCs

2009-03-13 Thread gerard
Hi Peter

I started the Jaunty live CD.
Doing fine till the end.
Got the Desktop display, but when I wanted to move my mouse, it was stuck on
the screen, completely frozen.

A- This is the case for 2 PCs both equiped with
CPU: Duron 1200 MHz

1st one
Mother board: MSI KT3-Ultra MS 6380E
video: Radeon 7000

2nd one
Mother board: MSI KM2M MS6738
video: S3 Graphic Pro Savage DDR

B-for the 3rd one
I first blocked at the $ prompt. I had to enter "startx"
BUT the mouse is not frozen
CPU: Athlon 735 MHz
Mother board: MSI MS 6195
video: Elsa Gladiac MX511

C- no freezing on my laptop HP-Compaq 6510b

D- on a celeron 1700 MHz
I first blocked at the $ prompt. I had to enter "startx"
BUT the mouse is not frozen

That's strange isn't it? Actually I'm not the only one because I saw
other people with the same freezing problem!!

Of course, all these PC are running Intrepid (otherwise I would have
complained!!)

To answer your question the mouse is PS2. An ordinary one: 3 buttons +
wheel.

Hope you'll find something because it never happened with the previous

2009-03-14 Thread gerard
You're very welcome Peter as long as you try to find out what happened.

Well , I've got to tell you something that might help. I use these 2 PCs
on the same screen, mouse, keyboard. I switch from one to the other one
with a device so called "KVM switch" wich is PS2, but you're right my
mouse is actually USB with an USB/PS2 plug adaptor.

What I'll do: I send you this piece of info first. I turn down my 2
computer and I plug a REAL PS2 mouse in the KVM so I'll be 100% PS2 and
I come back 2U. See you soon!!

It corresponds finally to other reports saying "USB mouse frozen".
This is really a USB mouse bug, not PS2

Hi Peter

regarding your comment: "My guess is that this might be related to 64
bits architecture USB implementation. Can you confirm that the USB works
on the 64 bits architecture?"

I don't think it concerns me as long as I've got (appart from my laptop)
old PCs from the year 2002. See the characteristics of the mother board.
I've got a pure 32 bits (as far as I know) and I installed the regular
Jaunty version: jaunty-desktop-i386.iso

Do you agree? anything, any log you'd like me to check? just let me
know, telling me the command you want me to do. I remind you I'm using

2009-03-19 Thread gerard
Hi Peter, I'm of course willing to help, but how if my mouse doesn't
work?

What I can do:
leave the mouse plugged
Ctrl Alt F1 --> console --> I can run dmesg but how can I send you the file
same for unplug

Do you mean I need to read thru the file and find something related to
the mouse?

another point: on 8.10 I typed "dmesg | more" to have time reading
but on 9.04 "more" has no effect, I reach the end of the file immediately!!

Any advice about all that to go further on, Thx

OK Peter, as far as I understand, you just need the last page, fine, I

I took 3 screenshots attached

1- is the origin: mouse plugged-in
2- mouse unplugged
3- mouse plugged-in again

It does not correspond to what you expected
the mouse is apparently recognized as PS2 (USB/PS2 adaptor)
looks like sync problem???

Hope that helps, anyway I'm ready to try whatever you want, otherwise
I'll have to bypass this version and I'll be very sad!!

[Bug 342156] Re: Jaunty : frozen mouse on my PCs

2009-03-20 Thread gerard
OK Peter, I'll do what you ask for, but before, here is the result of an
interesting test I did.

Reminder : KVM = Keyboard Video Mouse switch
KVM = PS2 plug
Mouse1 (faulty mouse) = USB plug
in between = USB/PS2 adaptor

What I did:
I replaced mouse 1 by mouse 2 (PS2 mouse)
connected directly to KVM

and it WORKs, but for any reason Ctrl Alt F1 to F6 doesn't work, just a
black screen, no prompt, just Ctrl Alt F7 returns me to graphic. So I
cannot send you the result of dmesg regarding this successful trial

BUT that brings a very interesting point

When I plug again the faulty mouse it works now. In other words, when
the mouse has been recognized once, then the combination USB + adaptor
is also recognized.

I wanted to send you that just before going thru your tests that I'll do
right away. The corresponding dmesg is in attachment

By the way in order not to trouble the test, I rebooted after the trial

So I started with a frozen mouse, "jumping again on the screen" after
what you recommended to do

I keep these 2 commands in mind, very useful.

I'm gone take a look at the bug I'm a duplication of, in order to
understand better the situation. Hope this will be solved before the
final release. Anyway, Thx for your concern, have a nice day

[Bug 262589] [NEW] Seahaven cheats :) wont play queen to king

2008-08-29 Thread Gerard
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-games

This is the second game in a row where it wont let me put a queen onto a
king in the Tableau, they are of the same suit.

I have attached a screenshot.

The version I have here is AisleRiot 2.22.3 running on Ubuntu 8.04

I expect to be able to play the queen of clubs onto the king of clubs.

What does happen is I can move the jack but not the queen.

The first time it was with diamonds, same thing, queen to king would not
happen.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386

Ok, then why did it let me put the jack of clubs on the queen of clubs?
My rules say:
The Tableau is built down by suit. Only the top card or build of
cards can be moved. A build of cards can only be moved if the
number of cards in the build is equal or less than one more than the
number of Reserve slots free. Empty spaces in the Tableau can only
be filled with a King or a build starting with a King.

Hang on, I see it now "A build of cards can only be moved if the
number of cards in the build is equal or less than one more than the
number of Reserve slots free."

you are right in it is in the rules, just the wrong rules :)

Cheers

Gerard

[Bug 54915] boot hangs at mounting root file system when card reader is installed

2006-08-02 Thread Gerard
Public bug reported:

Sometimes the kernel will hang too.

Steps to reproduce.

Either way works.
1. plug in i-rocks 8 in 1 card reader IR-8110 using normal USB cable, fire up
machine = "boot hangs at mounting root file system"

2. more annoying. (due to the difficulty of accessing the internals of
the machine with liquid cooling...) plug in internal (box mounted)
apacer card reader/front USB device to the ASUS motherboard. Just using
the the USB cable works fine, add the card reader cable and = "boot
hangs at mounting root file system".

Now even more annoying - it is intermittent. After several resets (like
8) it may boot.

Other symptoms...

You can watch the optical mouse light as it is mounting, if the light
flickers too long it hangs. About half a second is fine, if it is out
longer than that it wont come one and the machine is frozen.

Oh yes, it does not drop out to a shell. Left it for hours once, no
shell.
