[Bug 952417] Re: firefox zombie process starts sometimes when starting firefox
Hello I ran into the same problem. Firefox and Thunderbird, once started, turned immediately into a zombie process. after a few inquiries I found out, that the openJDK got updated. both mozilla applications rely on JAVA functionality to perform some tasks. I downgraded from openJDK 7 to openJDK 6 and things got to the usual again. cheers, nick -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/952417 Title: firefox zombie process starts sometimes when starting firefox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/952417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
