[Bug 498764] [NEW] laptop battery not working (Ubuntu 9.10)
Public bug reported: Dead batteries in Ubuntu 9.10. I use Toshiba L30-101 laptop. 1. If I use Ubuntu 9.04 there is no problem I can use the batteries or the electric cord, everythiung is fine 2. If I upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 the batteries are not working at all. If I take out the electric cord the PC does not boot or just stops. I hope its better in version 10, but 9.04 works just fine. I find it rather difficult to do this. Sorry freinds its too complicated. WHen I copy "apport-collect 498764" to terminal strange things happen I dont under stand any of it. Sorry. Public bug reported: I can not switch mic boost off in Ubunt u 13.04 beta. This bloody laucnhsystem does not allow me to srite Ubuntu 13.04 becouse pad using the choos option "ubuntu 13.04" does not exist in Ubuntu. Please choose a different package. alsamixer from terminal using arrows however gives me control over mic boost. Very good, but it should off course be part of audacity and the graphical sound control system. My new Compaq laptop have the same problem no microphone input from intern / external mic. The other laptop mic (toshiba) worked under 9.04 but not 10.04...
