I'm still having difficulties with my original 2015 IQaudiO PiDac+. Searching dmesg (.txt copy) for: "designware", "iqaudio", "snd-rpi-iqaudio-dac", "rpivid" Found: [0.678763] dw_axi_dmac_platform 1f00188000.dma: DesignWare AXI DMA Controller, 8 channels [5.122240] rpivid 100080.codec: bcm2712_iommu_of_xlate: MMU 105100.iommu [5.122249] rpivid 100080.codec: bcm2712_iommu_probe_device: MMU 105100.iommu That's all I get. No reference to "iqaudio" found. I have two of these DACs, about of same age. Thank you for doing this all. PiDAC+ appears now in GUI Settings > Sound as an Analog Output - Built-in Audio Now we can listen to Spotify with IQAudio boards on Ubuntu. If you can't wait the installer to be fixed, or you need to install Ubuntu 24.04 on your RPi5, like, NOW, just download: https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/mantic/release/ubuntu-23.10-preinstalled- desktop-arm64+raspi.img.xz Do apt update && upgrade, and finally do-release-upgrade.
