[Bug 305546] Re: Nautilus crashing/freezing when opening folder with svg file
Hi Sabastien, I upgraded the affected desktop to Jaunty on Saturday and have found that the issue is still happening. To verify, I simply downloaded the nautilusCrashTest.old file listed above, renamed it to .svg and then went to Places/Home and it Nautilus hung again. Here's another valgrind log. ** Attachment added: "valgrind log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26039253/valgrind.log -- Nautilus crashing/freezing when opening folder with svg file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305546 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 478663] [NEW] Gnome panel orientation automatically resets
Public bug reported: Here's what happened: I like my panels reversed from the default Ubuntu install, so the Applications menu is at the bottom and the panel showing open apps is at the top. I reorganized my panels, added some icons and set the bottom panel so that it's not expanded. Then, I restarted the PC and the panels were both on the top of the screen when I logged in. So, I right-clicked on the panel that was on the bottom, chose 'bottom' in the orientation field, and it would be set to 'bottom,' but pop right back to 'top' immediately. I'd just click the dropdown, select bottom, and it would show 'bottom' for half a second and pop back to top. I tried several times to get it to stick and was finally able to when I checked the 'Expand' box again before selecting 'bottom' from the dropdown. Interestingly, once I did get it to move to the bottom and then unchecked the 'Expand' box, it would also reset the orientation field upon changing and will only 'stick' if I check the expand box again. [Bug 478663] Re: Gnome panel orientation automatically resets
Not sure if this helps, but I've rebooted twice and Gnome can't seem to remember the positions of the panels or the icons, making random changes to icon positions and moving my un-expanded bottom panel back to the top. The only way I've been able to get the bottom panel to stay on the bottom was to reboot when the panel is expanded. -- Gnome panel orientation automatically resets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478663 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 478663] Re: Gnome panel orientation automatically resets
Sorry to be verbose, but I've done a bit more testing and found that, as long as I have the bottom panel expanded, it will now survive a reboot without repositioning the panel or its included icons/items. But, after a few reboots, I unchecked the 'Expand' box on the properties of the bottom panel to get it to look as I'd like. Then, after rebooting, the panel appears on the top again and won't be relocated until making it 'expand' again. I haven't tried deleting the panel and recreating it, but would be willing if you'd like me to. -- Gnome panel orientation automatically resets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478663 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi Pedro & cactuar, I think I have the same or similar issue. Almost everytime I try to burn a CD, I get an error through Brasero. I've attached a session log and will also attach debug text. ** Attachment added: "Brasero Session Log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/34730553/brasero-session.log -- brasero doesn't burn CD because of "Errno 5" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/395580 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
