I am now getting this error daily, on Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS with encrypted home directories. It actually began after I installed a second Linux distro alongside, which replaced GRUB2 with GRUB. Not a huge problem perhaps, but in the age of iOS, Android, Mac OSX and Windows 8, it's one of the little bugs that makes Ubuntu a less than smooth user experience.
