[Bug 54779] Re: Keyring password
I don't mind if evolution is using gnome-keyring. Issue is until now, evolution never asked for a keyring passwd, and suddenly ask for one. The good thing is I've figured out which passwd it asked, and remembered its value... But now, I would like to have the previous behaviour back, i.e. no passwd when launching evolution, and it's not easy to find how to achieve that. So issues are: - unwanted change in evolution behaviour (new passwd dialog). - no hint about where to change/remove this password. Regarding gnome-keyring-manager itself, I did'nt find a way to change this password, but that's not an issue related to evolution. -- Keyring password https://launchpad.net/bugs/54779 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 192358] Re: Tooltips are not a user manual
« The intend is to make easier for users to discover those feature, the tooltip is not optimal and we have been discussing this. » My take on this one would be: - people that interract with the desktop mostly using the mouse will discover the mouse features by themselves. - I think people that want to use keyboard shortcuts have been used to search them. And the shortcuts can be found either by reading the user manual which is available directly using the popup menu, or by using the keyboard shortcut dialog in system->preferences. So I don't think we really need to add yet another way to discover the features. But that's only my opinion, not the result of a usability study :) « We are considering using the context menu to list those actions, what do you think about that? » That would be better, yes. [Bug 129501] Clearlooks theme altered
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gtk2-engines Since the last gutsy update (gtk2-engines 2.11.4), the clearlooks theme has changed a lot, which is something I don't expect for a theme. [Bug 197651] [NEW] Compiz doesn't work with an ATI rv100 board by default, while it could
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz I was able to enable compiz using a RV100 ATI board, with the free radeon driver, by modifying the X server configuration. Before, compiz failed with the following error: Comparing resolution (1280x1024) to maximum 3D texture size (1024): Failed Now it passes (but I don't know which parameter makes it pass). Here's my current working configuration file. The result is a perfectly running compiz, and it runs fast as long as I use a 16 bit display. Only fullscreen scrolling of web pages inside epiphany are a bit slower than with compiz disabled, but that's acceptable. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Compiz doesn't work with an ATI rv100 board by default, while it could https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197651 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
