[Bug 371095] Re: Intel Video completely unusable in Jaunty

2009-05-02 Thread Eddie Padilla
I may be way off here, but have you tried reverting the Xorg intel
driver in jaunty? You can try it on the live cd so that you dont have to
reinstall twice if it doesnt work. I had the same problem and fixed it
on the liveCD first to make sure that it would be usable before i went
ahead and did a fresh install.

Here's the link
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReinhardTartler/X/RevertingIntelDriverTo2.4

After you install it just log out and let the liveCD log back in (10
second autologin) and you should be able to tell if the problem was
fixed or not.

[Bug 371310] Re: google opens with squashed lettering

2009-05-03 Thread Eddie Padilla
A little more description would help. Does www.google.com look how it
should? and what is this "sky bingo" you're talking about? It would help
if others are able to try and reproduce what you're seeing. Attaching a
screenshot would also help a lot. Thanks.

[Bug 371415] [NEW] Cannot select multiple attachment uploads in gmail when file selection dialogue appears

2009-05-03 Thread Eddie Padilla
Public bug reported:

I can upload individual files just fine, and I also have the "Advanced
Attachments Feature" enabled in the gmail settings. The only problem I'm
having is selecting multiple files at a time with the file selection
dialogue that appears. Pressing shift or control while selecting them
doesn't do anything and only selects the file I clicked on.

Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64
Gnome nautilus 2.26.2

If there's any more information you need, just ask. Thanks.

[Bug 371422] [NEW] of eNew notifications in ubuntu 9.04 stack on top of each other making them unreadable

2009-05-03 Thread Eddie Padilla
Public bug reported:

If you turn the volume up, change the song so Rhythmbox will show a
notification, let the volume notification disappear then turn the volume
up again. The Rhythmbox and volume notification will be right on top of
each other making them unreadable. Here's a video of it in action.

Don't know which package it is so I don't know what other information to
send. Glad to send any anything else if needed.

[Bug 452383] [NEW] nautilus crashes if i'm connected to computer through sftp and i right click on "open in terminal"

2009-10-15 Thread Eddie Padilla
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release:9.04
Nautilus Version: 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2
Nautilus Open Terminal Version: 0.9-3ubuntu1

To recreate bug,

1) Install "nautilus-open-terminal"
2) Connect to remote computer via sftp from nautilus (ex: sftp://u...@hostname)
3) Right clicking anywhere in nautilus and select "Open In Terminal"

After nautilus crashes, the desktop icons disappear which appears to be bug
#248372 but is easily fixed by logging out and back in or a restart.
