[Bug 545894] Re: notifications appear over screensaver
I am unable to interact with the notifications normally (other than blurring on mouseover) - I believe this may be due to not having notification-daemon installed. I've just tested it, nad once the screensaver is activated I cannot move the mouse outside of the "enter password" box. The messages I sent over msn from one machine to the other displayed for all to see on top of the screensaver. I've also seen (as mentioned earlier) user log in / out messages. I've not *seen* any other messages, but can ssh in to test if it's just a simple command / script to test to generate the popups? -- notifications appear over screensaver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/545894 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 on Jaunty I was downloading many (I think about 8-10) attachments from a message in Thunderbird manually by right-clicking, save as, because the save all button was broken (Bug #303140). What actually happened was several partial downloads. From what I can guess, as soon as I told it where to save the next attachment, the previous one was interrupted, and left unfinished.
