[Bug 632431] [NEW] Cannot browse SMB shares with Nautilus

2010-09-07 Thread Denis Schmidt
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gvfs-backends

Try to browse a window share from my local network. If I type
"smb://192.168.0.7/shared" in Nautilus the following happens:
1) gvfsd-smb-brows appears in process list and it consumes 100% CPU
2) for more than 5 minutes nothing happens (I see only wait mouse icon)
3) after a long time (~5 min) the following message appears (see the screenshot
attached):

Could not display "smb://192.168.0.7/shared"
Error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.NoReply: Did not receive a reply...
...

The same happens when I open Places -> Network -> Windows Network.

Also, I tested connection with smbclient. It works without problem.
