Something similar is happening to me on Ubuntu 11.10, every time I
connect or disconnect the ethernet cable to switch to wifi.

[Bug 814569] Re: Segmentation fault in augtool and augeas.rb

2014-04-29 Thread David Caro
I was able to reproduce this error on centos 6.5, when having a >24 MB
/etc/sysconfig/nfs configuration file, any tool using augeas-libs just
broke with segmentation fault.

Using augeas-libs-1.0.0-5.el6_5.1.x86_64

Fixed just trimming down the faulty configuration file as a workaround.

Reproduced easily just appending data into the file until it's big
enough (17 MB was enough for me). It does not matter if you add real
configuration entries or just comments.

This is what I used to test it:
  for i in $(seq 100); do echo "#WHATEVER=NOTHIG" >> /etc/sysconfig/nfs;
done

After that running augtool:
  # augtool
  Segmentation fault

With gdb:
 # gdb augtool

[Bug 663601] Re: Autocompletion with text before /and/ after cursor

2012-01-08 Thread David Caro
Hi, what valkyr is saying (or at least what I am understanding) is a
problen with the autocomplete in the bash program, not sure if it should
be here.

The problem is:
when you are typing in a terminal, if you type 'tab' the terminal will try to
autocomplete the comand you are typing, but if you typed for example:
$ shudown
and move back the cursor whete the 't' should be and hit 'tab', the
autocompleted command will end up like this:
$ shutdowndown
if it find asingle match or will show you allt he options that start with shut,
like this:
cascara@zeus:~$ shudown
shuf  shutdown

What is aslinf is for the autocomplete functions to take into account
the string after the cursor to do the search, and match only the
commands that start with shu and end with down. And also avoid writing
the wholw command again and just add the missing chars.

Personally is something that will also be usefool to me.

David

[Bug 803621] [NEW] Files renamed only on the cloud

2011-06-29 Thread David Caro
Public bug reported:

Some of my files (mp3 files actually), got renamed on the web interface, (.mp3
to something line .mp3.H12345).
I'm using the ubuntu one music android app, and those files where not syncing,
maybe it's the music app that renamed them?

Anyway, the files have the correct name in my folder.

In the syncdaemon.log file I there are a lot of lines like this:

2011-06-28 23:18:44,000 - ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.local_rescan - INFO -
generating Unlink from trash: share_id='' parent_id='b09c2bd7-2df9

path='/home/cascara/Ubuntu
One/Musica/Red_Hot_Chili_Peppers/Stadium_Arcadium/03_-
_Charlie.mp3.QQREN001REN'

and later a lot of these:
2011-06-28 23:18:44,023 - ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.local_rescan - INFO - processing
move limbo
2011-06-28 23:18:44,024 - ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.local_rescan - INFO - removing

path_to='/home/cascara/Ubuntu

In fact is That 03_-_Charlie.mp3.C15310 the file that is displayed in the web
interface.
