[Bug 41301] Re: Mouse clicks stop working sporadically

2008-12-10 Thread Dan Forward
I have also been experiencing this problem since moving to Intrepid, but
not at first. I noticed it first one or two weeks ago, but it is now a
daily occurrence. Alt-Tab does not fix it. Only Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
restores the mouse click.

I am running 32-bit Intrepid on a Dell Latitude D820 notebook computer
and have only noticed the problem when I am connected to a docking
station and using Xinerama. I also see the RANDR error message that Tris
pointed out.

[Bug 119958] Re: meld and svn can not work with subclipse

2007-07-17 Thread Dan Forward
Subversion 1.4.x uses a different (non-XML) format for the .svn/entries
file. It automatically updates your working copy if it finds the older-
style XML format. It is important to upgrade all Subversion clients at
the same time to ensure they all can read the new format. Your
Subversion client is too old (version 1.3.2) to read the working copy
updated by Subclipse 1.2.0. The latest version of Subversion available
for Ubuntu Feisty is 1.4.3.

[Bug 112722] [apport] xrandr crashed with SIGSEGV in XRRGetScreenInfo()

2007-05-05 Thread Dan Forward
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xrandr

I am using an nVidia card with three monitors using Xinerama. Beryl will
not start because of "No RandR extension" so I ran xrandr directly from
the command line and received this "Segmentation fault (core dumped)".
When I query /var/log/Xorg.0.log, I find "RandR enabled" three times and
"Initializing built-in extension RANDR" caused no problem.

[Bug 470554] Re: Music-applet without pause-icon after click

2009-11-16 Thread Dan Forward
I am having the same problem with the Music Applet and Audacious under
Karmic Koala (64-bit). The play button does not change to a pause button
while playing, so there is no way to pause music. Clicking the play
button again restarts the song.

It sounds like you accidentally pressed F11. Try pressing F11 again.
