[Bug 334879] [NEW] [needs-upgrading] Bash V 4.0
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bash Hi. The 4.0 version of our loved shell is just released. I think it would be good to package it in a different package, like bash-ng (and changing binary name, etc...), because it has some big improvements, and differences between him and the current packaged version of bash. Hi. When adding the possibility of using multiple threads to build the nginx packages, I made a mistake and the binary objects were not stripped anymore (dh_strip being executed before the end of the actual build). [Bug 915257] Re: FTBFS nginx 1.1.12-1 in ubuntu precise except amd64
Hi Mahyuddin. Honestly, I don't know if this will fix the FTBFS. The only thing I know is I made a mistake when adding the threaded build in the package. For the moment, there is no new upload of nginx packages in Debian. As the 1.1.13 contains a memory leak (fixed for 1.1.14), I think we will directly switch to the 1.1.14. [Bug 915257] Re: FTBFS nginx 1.1.12-1 in ubuntu precise except amd64
Ok for holding off the 1.1.14 from Wheezy until we are certain the issue is corrected. When the SVN will be up, we should prepare the 1.1.14 package, upload it to Sid, and then you will perform the import. If the issue is corrected, we can leave the 1.1.14 being migrated to Testing. Are you OK with that ? [Bug 1023389] Re: "service nginx status" is confusing when nginx is not running
Hello. Why do you try to parse the text return of the command ? You have to use the return code for this : * $? -eq 0 : OK, nginx running * $? -ne 0 : NOK, nginx not running Parsing the text return is completely non-sense and will give you tons of headches everytime there's a change in the initscript. Hello. I agree with both of you (Thomas and avelldiroll). As I'm one of the maintainers of the nginx packages in Debian, I think I'm the right person to mark it as Invalid.
