[Bug 221789] Re: can't save image in fyre
Same issue for me. I recreated the deb package for it, and now it works. [Bug 250567] Re: Division by decimal is wrong
Have suddenly got rounding bug mentioned here, on Linux Mint based upon Ubuntu 8.04. gcalctool is version 5.22.3 example: 1583.44-1291.19=292.2 Original complainant's example of division calculates correctly, however. I have tried neutralising(renaming to .old) the user's xml file in ~/.gconf/apps/gcalctool, but this seems to have no effect. The xml file is the same values as another on this machine (running ZevenOs 1(ubu8.04.2)); which works just fine. Is there another method for kicking this app into line? [Bug 229416] Re: Synaptic package manager stops working at 100% presumeably something to do with ldconfig
Had this also today, after installing KDE 4.1.1 onto Ubuntu 8.04.1, merely to see what all the fuss was about. Running Synaptic from the Kicker results in this issue. Have to xkill the window. Running from terminal " sudo synaptic " - it works. -- Synaptic package manager stops working at 100% presumeably something to do with ldconfig https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229416 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 267044] [NEW] Window corruption in Preview Window of XSane
Public bug reported: Upgraded from Ubuntu 8.04.1 to kubuntu-desktop, to KDE 4.1.1 Everything running sweetly in Ubuntu. Under KDE 4.1.1, the first two loads of it were horrifically slow, often with windows being blank. Fine, I can understand that it needs to initialize the files. But then I came across the Bug 229416 which was reproducible. Now I think I've found another. I started XSane (xscanimage) to do some scanning, and the Preview Window was entirely white, barring some weird corruption at the top of the window. Closed Xsane, reopened it. 3 times in 10 minutes, no change. Based upon my experience with Bug 229416, I launched yakuake, typed xsane, and had Xsane open correctly with the Preview window. It even continues now to open from the Kicker with preview correctly viewed. So problem is fixed for me, but needs notifying if others come across it: open terminal window, type xsane Specs: AMD Phenom 8450, 4GB RAM, nVidia 8500GT VGA, Brother DCP115C scanner ** Affects: meta-kde4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Window corruption in Preview Window of XSane https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267044 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 140816] Re: compiz slows to a crawl on resize of a window
Simple workaround for the moment... create file in home directory called compstart, put in it: #!/bin/bash compiz & then save it, and do: chmod a+x compstart then add it to your panel as a Custom Application. Whenever this bugs pops up, click the icon, and it restarts compiz, allowing you to carry on. -- compiz slows to a crawl on resize of a window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/140816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 140816] Re: compiz slows to a crawl on resize of a window
I too have this problem, and adjusting the PNG Plugin in Compiz makes no difference. Reproducible every time. (I do a lot of stretching terminal windows).
