[Bug 553655] Re: rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in free()
Ok SORRY, this bug is not fixed, my mistake. I analyzed the situation now, here it comes: When rhythmbox is started without any music in the "Music" folder in ubuntu, it will crash, it will always crash. After I added an album in the Music folder rhytmbox will find it and crash and the "Stores" menu is missing on the left side. If I start rhythmbox one more time "Stores" will come up and everything will work. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released => Confirmed -- rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in free() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553655 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 546393] Re: MacBook Pro 5, 1 / 5, 2 / 5, 3 / 5, 5 fails to boot into 10.04 desktop
I will try the daily-live CD tomorrow and tell you if it works without "quite splash" and with "blacklist=vga16fb", I will also post a movie online to show the bug in a better way if it boots at all. I don't understand how this "apport-collect 546393" thing works or where to type this so this could maybe someone else please do. -- MacBook Pro 5,1 / 5,2 / 5,3 / 5,5 fails to boot into 10.04 desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/546393 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 546393] Re: MacBook Pro 5, 1 / 5, 2 / 5, 3 / 5, 5 fails to boot into 10.04 desktop
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected ** Description changed: Unable to boot into the Ubuntu 10.04 beta1 Live-CD. Therefore also unable to install the OS 1. When nothing is set in the modes menu and no button is pressed then one can't even see the new Ubuntu Plymouth theme. The only thing one sees is a blinking cursor and it doesn't boot at all. 2. If one presses F6 in the options menu and choose "nomodeset" then one does see the Ubuntu Plymouth theme but the laptop fails to boot and stops at the point there the b43 Wireless module gets loaded. The Wireless module seem not to be suppoted nativley. This would not be such a Critical issue HOWEVER only in this case the boot process HALTS. There is at this moment no know way to resume the boot to contine with the install. The option noload=b43 does not give any different solace. We repeated this procedure and the point where it stops is always the same. "b43-phy0 ERROR: FOUND UNSUPPORTED PHY (Analog 8, Type 4, Revision4)" Also using various boot options like: acpi=off noapic nolapic gave no different behaviour. I like to add that the above apport-collect was done on a successful boot with 3D Nvidia graphics working afterwards. (sometimes the Nvidia driver can't load and I need to select "Run Ubuntu in low-graphics mode", this happends around 30% of all boots) I also tried the Daily Live CD from 3rd of April 2010 and adding "blacklist=vga16fb" and nothing else results into a nouveau pramin flush and the boot is NOT successful. [Bug 555083] [NEW] software center install button "always" works although application is already installing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center There are 2 problems: 1. The install button in "More Information" always works although the chosen application is already trying to install itself. (check the screenshot), so you are able to press this button 100times and you will have the program 100times in the queue. (note: of course its's not installing 100 times but it still annoying and it should not be possible at all to press this button if the program is installing already) 2. If you have programs in the installation queue the "normal" installation buttons in the normal submenues (for example "games") doesn't work at all. So if you have programs in the installation queue you can not press the installation button for any other applications and need to press the "More Information" button and press inside the more information screen the install button. I use the newest version as of 4th of april midday, 1.1.23 I hope this will be fixed, thanks. I will answer any additional questions, feel free to ask me. [Bug 555194] [NEW] sound indicator forces full screen video to minimize
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-sound The sound indicator on top right in Ubuntu Lucid forces all flash fullscreen videos (youtube etc.) to be minimized. Behaviour: I use a MacBook Pro and have 2 keys for volume controle: F11 (turn the volume down) and F12 (turn the volume up). Now when I go to youtube and watch a movie in full screen mode and want to turn up/down the volume, the movie will go back to it's minimized size it had before. This happend will all flash movies in full screen mode (not only youtube) and it happens with the 32bit and the 64 bit version of the flash plugin.
