[Bug 272264] Re: Ubuntu has very old, not user-friendly Scilab version, 5.0.1 was released on 2008-09
I currently try to package the new 5.0.2 release. I took the 4.1.2 [1] package as a starting point. These [2] are the build dependencies. [Bug 258404] [NEW] nm-applet does not save the WLAN password when configured manually
Public bug reported: Problem: I have a wireless network which I have to configure manually (no DHCP). So I also have to type in the password. (The WLAN is WPA-PSK secured) http://www.abload.de/img/bildschirmfoto-eigen6oo.png But this password does not get saved because after reboot I have to type in the password again. OS: Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 (i386) Only in very rare cases I get logged in into the wireless network after reboot. But I could not figure out when this happens. ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nm-applet does not save the WLAN password when configured manually https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258404 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 258404] Re: nm-applet does not save the WLAN password when configured manually
This is the syslog using this command: tail -n0 -f /var/log/syslog > /tmp/syslog I started the log after booting (when showing the login screen) in tty2. Then I logged in (into Ubuntu; again I was not connected to the WLAN). Then I opened the nm-applet and typed in the password. (I have marked that point in the log). ** Attachment added: "syslog" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16860427/syslog -- nm-applet does not save the WLAN password when configured manually https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258404 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
