Seeing the same issue on Linux desktopthink 3.16.0-31-generic 
#41~14.04.1-Ubuntu.
I've noticed after a 'random' change of activity (eg opening a whole bunch of 
windows, using a different port, i'm unable to use the network without a system 
restart.

I did the above and the package did install cleanly.  It continues to
appear to work except I do not get any picture (or should I say video)
with my camera.
