Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 3.13.0-45-generic 00:12.0 Ethernet controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT6102 [Rhine-II] (rev 7c) I have tested start the kernel with noapic and noacpi options but after several minutes 30 or 45 minutes the USB devices (Mouse -usb genius- and Keyboard -Genius Kb12e ) stop working, so again I must restart the PC. I think it is a bug related to Kernel. Could be Avahi or network-manager? This is a long time bug. Some one could test if adding noapic or noacpi to the kernel line work and the net card work fine? as well could some one test installing wicd and uninstall network-manager to see if this work? [Bug 1269412] Re: via-rhine kernel module: PHY status 786d, resetting
I keep trying to find what the trouble is, so I`ve tested with another kernels, even 2.6.32 and the trouble is the same, so I think now that this could be Systemd problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1269412 Title: via-rhine kernel module: PHY status 786d, resetting To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1269412/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
