[Bug 1214174] [NEW] bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu0.0.1: bcmwl kernel module failed to build

The bug report you've smarked orginally addresses Ubuntu 13.04 64bit. It
was only visible in the comments that this problem exists in LTS
version. I've encountered this problem while installing Quantal kernel
some time ago and it seems that this problem may persists with
subsequent kernels due to the LTS Enablement Stack philosophy. I merely
wanted to open topic where we can address subsequent issues.

[Bug 983342] [NEW] Evince reports an error about an invalid border when opening a PDF

2012-04-16 Thread Budo Zindovic
Public bug reported:

This bug seems to be related to the Bug #887443
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-artwork/+bug/887443).
After I got the same message as Michael, I've installed the "gnome-
themes-standard" as the Lubuntu 11.10 was missing "adwaita" theme
engine. After installing it, another error message appeared:

(evince:7604): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-
buttons.css:159:10: Expected valid border

I located the file "gtk-buttons.css" in /usr/share/themes/Lubuntu-
default/gtk-3.0 and the line 159, that error referred to, is:

padding: -1 2;

Is the padding of -1 valid for all the cases? Should this be adapted for
Evince?

[Bug 1288215] [NEW] Terminal app name is not displayed in Title bar with Locally Integrated Menus

2014-03-05 Thread Budo Zindovic
Public bug reported:

When using locally integrated menus, Terminal app's name isn't displayed
in the title bar. Title bar only echoes the username@host prompt.

Ubuntu release: 14.04 64bit
package info: Unity 7.1.2+14.04.20140303-0ubuntu1

The expected output is that the window title should display "Terminal"
instead of prompt only (compared to "top bar menu" variant that displays
"Terminal in top bar).

Suggested solution is that top bar displays only App name in the top bar
and global menu is bound to window bar only (in the "locally integrated
menus" variant).

The same is happening to me with Ubuntu 12.04.2 on my netbook Acer

indicator icon is not changing levels during recharge but the icons for
it are present in the themes Ambiance/Radiance. The isonc are present in
the /usr/share/icons/ubuntu-mono-dark/status and /usr/share/icons
/ubuntu-mono-light/status folders. It must be the problem with the
indicator-power since the icon is correct in the Power Settings menu.

[Bug 1048041] Re: battery icon doesn't show it is charging when it's plugged in

2013-02-23 Thread Budo Zindovic
I was browsing the code for indicator-power.c and only following icons are
referenced for chargning state (lines :
battery-000-charging
battery-caution-charging-symbolic (doesn't exist)
battery-caution-charging (doesn't exist)
gpm-battery-000-charging

All available icons are not used and is clearly visible in the code
(lines 486-489). By looking the code for the discharge state, I suggest
replace the original lines 486-489 with the following:

  const gchar *percentage = get_icon_percentage_for_status (suffix_str);
  g_string_append_printf (filename, "battery-%s-charging;", suffix_str);
  g_string_append_printf (filename, "battery-%s-charging-symbolic;",
suffix_str);
  g_string_append_printf (filename, "battery-%s-charging;", percentage);
  g_string_append_printf (filename, "gpm-battery-%s-charging;", percentage);

After I thoroughly test it, I'll report if the fix is correct.

I've noticed the use of pointers in the lines 494-498 in the original

executed? I'm asking this since I don't have experience with GLib nor
does it have smart-pointers.

[Bug 1056132] [NEW] Rhythmbox main doesn't show when using a volume indicator during playback after quiting via quicklist

2012-09-25 Thread Budo Zindovic
Public bug reported:

The main window of the Rhythmbox player isn't displayed when using a
volume indicator after using the "Quit" command in a Unity quicklist. To
reproduce the bug, do the following:

1) play a track in the Rhythmbox
2) use the "Minimize to launcher bar" button (middle one in the top left corner)
3) use the "Quit" option in the Rhythmbox quicklist (right-click the Rhythmbox
icon in the Launcher and choose "Quit")
4) click on the volume indicator and click the currently playing track in the
indicator menu

Rhythmbox main window is expected to be displayed but instead, only the
Rhythmbox's Launcher icon is active (triangles on the left and right
sides are visible) and main window is not displayed. I expect this
behaviour for an app minimized to a Launcher bar, not the currently
active.

[Bug 1056362] [NEW] Rhythmbox doesn't display window decoration after special minimization

2012-09-25 Thread Budo Zindovic
Public bug reported:

This bug report is closely related to the bug reported earlier:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/1056132

In order to produce it, follow the steps 1-4 in bug report 1056132 (link
is provided above). Next step is to click on the Rhythmbox icon in the
Launcher. I must state that the main window mustn't be maximized before
the process.

Expected result is to see the main window with full window decoration.
Instead, the main window appears without the decoration. Since this is
related to the previous bug, I suspect that this issue is more related
to the Unity shell than the Rhytmbox itself.

DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04.1
Package: rhythmbox 2.96-0ubuntu4.2
Architecture: i386

** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
