[Bug 1608387] Re: No Cellular data option after update ota-12
I checked the current logs: http://pastebin.com/dN5FErJP As far as I understand there's nothing related to the problem there, so I restarted the phone, and checked again: http://pastebin.com/yDW7U6ai Not much changed in the indicator log, but these lines from the settings log might be related: 2016-08-19 17:05:40,337 - WARNING - file:///usr/share/ubuntu/settings/system/qml-plugins/cellular/Components/NoSim.qml:26: TypeError: Cannot read property of null 2016-08-19 17:05:40,338 - WARNING - file:///usr/share/ubuntu/settings/system/qml-plugins/cellular/Components/NoSim.qml:27: TypeError: Cannot read property of null 2016-08-19 17:05:40,338 - WARNING - file:///usr/share/ubuntu/settings/system/qml-plugins/cellular/Components/NoSim.qml:28: TypeError: Cannot read property of null 2016-08-19 17:05:40,590 - WARNING - file:///usr/share/ubuntu/settings/system/qml-plugins/cellular/Components/SingleSim.qml:95: TypeError: Cannot read property 'DataRoamingEnabled' of null -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1608387 Title: No Cellular data option after update ota-12 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-network/+bug/1608387/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1608387] Re: No Cellular data option after update ota-12
I have the same problem after updating to OTA-12, except for me the cellular data is always ON, despite the switches on both the indicator panel and the settings page are disabled. (I had to ifconfig down the interface to prevent the phone from using all my data provided by my telco subscription for the current month.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1608387 Title: No Cellular data option after update ota-12 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1608387/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Just updated to OTA-13 and the problem is now gone: both the cellular data switch and the roaming switch is enabled and working again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1608387 Title: No Cellular data option after update ota-12 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-network/+bug/1608387/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
