[Bug 305088] Re: New translation suggestions in project The Mana World
Ah, I wasn't aware of that. I'll unselect it. To be honest, I'm utterly confused by the way translation groups work. I merely selected Ubuntu Translators because there was no other group that would fit better with our project. I would prefer to create my own group, so that it would be easier to gather the list of translators to mention in the credits. But it doesn't seem like the current interface would even scale to each project having its own translation group. -- New translation suggestions in project The Mana World https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305088 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 259980] Re: nm-applet crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_free1()
I tried to run nm-applet with valgrind as described there, but for some reason it never shows up in the notification area anymore. I did kill the previously running nm-applet before, but note that this one also isn't showing up in that area. Unfortunately I also can't remember what I did to make it crash (probably close to nothing except for booting it up). However without an icon in the notification area I can't try anything. *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 188732 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188732 Uhm, this bug is most definitely not a duplicate of bug #188732. It's not about whether the cursor blinks or not, but about it appearing as a block instead of a line. While we're at it, I'd like to request an underscore style cursor, like the one used in text mode and the old DOS. [Bug 263051] [NEW] Please sync tmw 0.0.26-1 (universe) from Debian experimental (main)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tmw I understand this is a new release and the request comes just after the FreatureFreeze. That's why I hereby request a freeze exception. There is one main reason why I think this exception should be granted: * The Mana World is a client part of a MMORPG. This new client version adds support for handling several new messages that a newer version of the server sends. We'd like to upgrade our server as soon as possible, but upgrading will break the game for anybody who is using an older version. It would be bad if we had to choose between breaking the game for all Ubuntu users, or supporting our old server version for another half a year. There are several reasons why I think this exception is likely to be harmless: * The Mana World is independent of the rest of the distribution, hence this upgrade is not expected to affect any other part of the distribution than itself. * We're in close contact with the Debian maintainer of this package. Hence, in the event that some critical error in this new release might be found, we can be quick with rolling out a patch to fix it. * It is only two days after the feature freeze. For The Mana World, this still leaves plenty of time to make sure the game is running smoothly for everyone. Changes in this new The Mana World release: - Added support for a newer version of eAthena server - Added support for showing custom being effects - Added new features to the particle engine - Position names and chat such that there is no overlap, when possible - Fixed a crash when loading a corrupt map that has too much layer data A diffstat is attached. [Bug 188732] Re: Blinking cursor can not be deactivated anymore
Me too! Cursors SHOULD normally blink in my opinion, it's just that in the terminal the cursor is a large block which is really annoying when it blinks all the time. The rather large response in favour of a non- blinking cursor at the referenced bug makes me a bit mad at the people who pushed this change through. So it seems now they're waiting for a patch which only makes things more complicated... some combo box option with values "System default", "Always", "Never". I call for a revert since that would bloat the UI even more than before. -- Blinking cursor can not be deactivated anymore https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188732 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 214124] Re: Please sync tmw (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Hmm, Caroline, since apparently we need the debdiff for the freeze exception, I don't think the effort was duplicate. At least I can't find another debdiff. But maybe I'm not understanding this fully. News update for this release: - Added /clear command to clear chat window - Added ability to close quit dialog by pressing ESC - Added key for targetting nearest player - Added the possibility to assign particle effects to monsters - Added possibility to pass through players with key controls - Fixed crash on exit after connection to server was lost (bug #203407) - Fixed initialization of some variables - Fixed an error with chat messages without a sender that include a colon - Fixed minimap to not keep reappearing when hidden - Fixed a GCC 4.3 compile error - Fixed music loading from non-default location - Fixed crash on trying to show out of range emoticon (remote DoS from client to client!) - Updated Dev-C++ and Code::Blocks project files Note that there are mostly fixes, the additions are small and are certainly not expected to cause any problems.
