3. Reboot and login with test-admin
4. Plug in Dell dock (usb-type c)

Test result:

[Bug 1822042] [NEW] The resposne is slow when entering Live USB in the beginning (nouveau driver is loaded)

2019-03-28 Thread Betty Lin
Public bug reported:

I used a Dell Precision 5530 (I+N) machine to install Disco 19.04 beta.

When I boot the Live USB, there was a lot of errors related to nouveau in dmesg.
The touchpad responds slow in the beginning, and needs 30 seconds to 1 min then
can click the icon on the top right "Install Ubuntu 19.04"

After that, the installation can be done and successful.

[Bug 1840416] Re: 2.4g wifi connection failed randomly during wpa re-key

2019-08-16 Thread Betty Lin
The problem is really hard to reproduce.
The test scenario is:
1. Connect wi-fi
2. Play 4k video on Youtube

Monitor the scenario for more than one week, and discover this problem
once.

u@u-XPS-13-9370:~$ boltctl --help
Usage:

Commands:
  authorizeAuthorize a device
enroll Authorize and store a device in the database
forget Remove a stored device from the database
info Show information about a device
list List connected and stored devices
  monitor Listen and print changes

All of them were working, only one problem:
If use "authorize" to authorize a device, and then use "enroll" to store the

wrong device state: 5

[Bug 1780169] [NEW] Orientation was disappeared when the machine has accelerometer in 18.04

2018-07-04 Thread Betty Lin
Public bug reported:

When the machine has accelerometer, rotate the machine, the display
orientation can be changed in 18.04

If connect to an external monitor, can't change the orientation to
Portrait Right, Portrait Left ...etc. manually, because "Orientation"
was disappeared in Settings->Devices->Displays

This is not friendly to the user who need to change the orientation when
connect to an external monitor. (For example: need to review
documents/codes on external monitor with Portrait mode)
