[Bug 697694] Re: Lubuntu installation crashes

2011-01-09 Thread Axel Bernadinis
So what you are saying is that I should throw my computer away? That is
just crazy. I had Ubuntulite working fine until I tried installing
Lubuntu which crashed for some reason, so I don't get how my computer
should be no good. I just want to know if I can do the text installation
with the cd I have or if I have to download another image. What I don't
get is why I have to enter a live session to install, isn't that too
heavy for old computers?

[Bug 697694] [NEW] Lubuntu installation crashes

2011-01-05 Thread Axel Bernadinis
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I tried installing Lubuntu 10.10 but the installation crashed and it
said to report a bug with two files attached: partman, and syslog. The
thing is that I can only attach one file, how do I attach the other.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Assignee: Lubuntu (lubuntu-desktop)
 Status: Incomplete

[Bug 697694] Re: Lubuntu installation crashes

2011-01-06 Thread Axel Bernadinis
I have a Pentium III 550MHz with 256MB of RAM. For other informations I
attached a hardware info file. By the way, I read that I need 256MB of
RAM to have the graphical installation, even though I have enough RAM,
what is the other option and how is it done?

[Bug 697694] Re: Lubuntu installation crashes

2011-01-07 Thread Axel Bernadinis
I checked the disc and it was fine. I can't boot from the WAITEC, I even
tried SBM but it still couldn't load from the WAITEC. Is there another
way to install it? Do I need to download the alternate CD to do a text
based installation? Can't I do it with this disc?

[Bug 755388] [NEW] [USB keyboard] Wireless Trust DS3400 keyboard doesn't work Ubuntu 11.04 beta 1

2011-04-09 Thread Axel Bernadinis
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I tried on a live CD Ubuntu 11.04 beta 1 on a laptop and when I try typing with
my Trust DS3400 wireless keyboard the cursor just blinks quickly and I can't
type anything. If I go to tty1 it works fine. If I unplug the wireless adapter
and I use the laptop's keyboard everything works fine. I am currently using
Xubuntu 9.10 and I have no such problems. By the way, I got this problem also
when I tried Ubuntu 9.10 and Ubuntu 10.04 (always on a live CD).
