[Bug 574409] Re: font not available as X font after installation
I am affected by the same issue. Installed the t1-xfree86-nonfree package. Under /usr/share/fonts/type1/t1-xfree86-nonfree I see all the fonts but the fonts.dir and fonts.scale files were not there. So I ran mkfontscale and mkfontdir which created those two files, then ran fc-cache, restarted xfs, dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig, and nothing works. None of the expected new fonts are listed under xlsfonts and I have no idea what to do from here. -- font not available as X font after installation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574409 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 619942] [NEW] ltsp via VX855 chipset not working (WYSE C90 series)
Public bug reported: I'm working on a deployment of Ubuntu 10.04 LTSP and the thin clients we have are WYSE C90 series, C90LE and C90LEW. These thin clients have a VIA VX855 chipset. When the thin client PXE boots the video is all messed up and where the login screen should be it's just a bunch of lines going up or down. I've uploaded a youtube video of what it looks like. So I've tried upgrading the openchrome and installed via package available here: https://launchpad.net/~atomo64/+archive/ppa/+packages Based on svn revision 856 of the openchrome source tree. Still NOGO. This is a very important bug, I will do whatever needed and within my ability to get this fixed. [Bug 544847] Re: cant browse/mount windows shares in nautilus 10.04
I checked my samba server and it already had that workgroup setting defined and set correctly. There must be something more to it than that. Most of the users work fine but it seems randomly some users just act up. This is all on an LTSP server with the samba server virtualized on the same hardware so it's not like network latency is an issue. For one user I always without fail get that error message when going to the Bookmarks where I've bookmarked a samba share, and clicking on that bookmark. The 1st time I always get that error, every time after that it works fine. Removing the keyring resolves the issue but prompts for login each time. Browsing to it in nautilus or using the bookmark, both have the same result. First time it fails with the DBus error, every time after that it works fine until you logout and log back in. -- cant browse/mount windows shares in nautilus 10.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544847 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
