Same situation. I tried
$ sudo ubiquity -d --pdb  | tee debug.log
but debug.log remains empty, and was even not dropped into the python debugger

[Bug 1872051] [NEW] Krunner does not launch with shortcut avec update from 19.10 to 20.04

2020-04-10 Thread Arduous
Public bug reported:

During the upgrade process, the file kglobalshortcutsrc seems to be
modified at some point. The result is that, after the upgrade, the
shortcuts to launch Krunner were not functional anymore. This is true
for the default alt+space or any other key combination if the shortcut
is modified. This issue occurred on one machine, another went through a
18.04 to 20.04 upgrade without this issue.

This problem seems to be that the [krunner] then [krunner.desktop]
section in kglobalshortcutrc got kind of duplicated duplicated.

The file retrieved from a month old backup:

toggle_mainwindow_visibility=none,none,Show/Hide Konversation

[krunner]
_k_friendly_name=Run Command
run command=Alt+Space\tAlt+F2\tSearch,Alt+Space,Run Command
run command on clipboard contents=Alt+Shift+F2,Alt+Shift+F2,Run Command on
clipboard contents

[ksmserver]

The file after the upgrade (see the duplication!):

toggle_mainwindow_visibility=none,none,Show/Hide Konversation

[krunner]
_k_friendly_name=Run Command
run command=Alt+Space\tAlt+F2\tSearch,Alt+Space,Run Command
run command on clipboard contents=Alt+Shift+F2,Alt+Shift+F2,Run Command on
clipboard contents

[krunner.desktop]
RunClipboard=,Alt+Shift+F2,Run command on clipboard contents
_k_friendly_name=KRunner
_launch=\t\t,Alt+Space\tAlt+F2\tSearch,KRunner

[ksmserver]

The working version, with the [krunner] section removed:

toggle_mainwindow_visibility=none,none,Show/Hide Konversation

[krunner.desktop]
RunClipboard=,Alt+Shift+F2,Run command on clipboard contents
_k_friendly_name=KRunner
_launch=Alt+Space,Alt+Space\tAlt+F2\tSearch,KRunner

[Bug 1879555] [NEW] Ktorrent uses direct IPv6 connection for trackers even if a proxy is specified.

Public bug reported:

If a proxy is configured for tracker connections and if an IPv6
connectivity is available and the tracker is reachable via IPv6,
KTorrent establishes a direct connection to the tracker and bypasses the

I would have expected that no connection leeks outside of the proxy.

[Bug 1785383] Re: missing EDNS0 record confuses systemd-resolved

2018-08-31 Thread Arduous
Returning NXDOMAIN is the behavior of Adblock on Turris-os (a derivative
of OpenWRT) with Knot resolver as back-end. I am of the same opinion
than @cbz . At the moment I will limit the logging rate.

[Bug 1435061] Re: KDE 5 is corrupted, after updating Kubuntu

When logging into KDE5 (or XFCE4), I faced the same symptoms today.
Deleting everything in ~/.cache allowed me to log back in. The main KDE
panel had to be recreated.
