[Bug 1312888] Re: evolution-ews in 14.04 only works as 'root'
It started working for me after a reboot. Maybe the keyring update doesn't happen until a reboot. [Bug 1312888] Re: evolution-ews in 14.04 only works as 'root'
On 14.10, I couldn't get the new EWS account to show up at all - the URL fetch works fine. But once you complete the wizard, the newly created account doesn't show. When I ran as root, there was a new prompt to create a new keyring (and a password for it). There was another prompt later for the exchange password. After this, mail, calendar works fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1312888 Title: evolution-ews in 14.04 only works as 'root' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-ews/+bug/1312888/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1312888] Re: evolution-ews in 14.04 only works as 'root'
After a reboot, could start evolution as a regular user and the account (more than one as I tried twice) I had created before showed up. I was prompted for the keyring password and the account password at boot - rather than at start of Evolution. Anyway, so for someone facing this issue, steps to try after evolution install: - Run evolution - Configure EWS account - Reboot If that doesn't work - Run evolution as root - Configure EWS account (will result in prompt for creation of new keyring) - Reboot - Run evolution as regular user -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1312888 Title: evolution-ews in 14.04 only works as 'root' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-ews/+bug/1312888/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1510970] Re: Intel driver crashes on Ubuntu 15.10
Seems to be working, for people running Ubuntu 15.10, the location of the file (20-intel.conf) with the contents that Georgi mentions above is /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d (rather than /etc/X11). You can check if SNA is enabled by: cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep SNA If you see it in the log, reboot after creating 20-intel.conf file as described above and you shouldn't. [Bug 1510970] Re: Intel driver crashes on Ubuntu 15.10
I can reproduce this consistently by opening up a calendar event in Thunderbird. Nope, roll back to 2.6.35-24 made it worse. Possibly because I had to re-install 260.19.06-0ubuntu1 and that seem to reset something. [Bug 733374] Re: X freeze, nvidia-current, Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick
I switched to the open source 'nv' driver present by default (by manually editing xorg.conf). I don't need fancy graphics. All I need is a dual monitor setup and I got that working through the generic System ->Preferences-Monitors configuration utility. It detected the monitors just fine and let me choose a dual monitor configuration. Pretty neat. I wish the nvidia-current driver was better. [Bug 733374] Re: X freeze, nvidia-current, Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick GeForce 9600GT
So ran into the problem again. Uninstalled nvidia-current and nvidia- settings. Back to the same work around as described in comment #19. And nv isn't open, its proprietary. But is stable. I am not going to try nouveau as it still doesn't support 3D fully and I am just fine with 2D, which nv provides. Maybe this problem is because I had installed nvidia drivers manually. Maybe a fresh install of 11.04 will make the problem go away. But I don't have the motivation to do that and am happy with nv. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/733374 Title: X freeze, nvidia-current, Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick GeForce 9600GT -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
