Public bug reported: Glusterfs mounted filesystems should by default be in /etc/updatedb.conf's PRUNEFS list. While add it might also add /net to PRUNEPATHS. There are some related bug reports in lauchpad like #371749, which requests this for sshfs. So please add fuse.glusterfs to PRUNEFS. It's low hanging fruit but you save thousand of work hours all over the world by doing this. Especially since in karmic there will be updated glusterfs packages. All in all I think we fixed/worked around 4 bugs in lucid to get them to boot. All related to the introduction of upstart. And not all have fixes released.
