Found solution on the forum:

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.post

then

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.pre

then

sudo dpkg --purge --force all flashplugin-nonfree

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

This is the code I used when I had the previous flashplugin problem:

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.post*
sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.pre*
sudo dpkg --purge --force all flashplugin-nonfree

That worked, but now when I use update manager my flashplayer does not
work and I have to reinstall it from Abobe.

Title:
adobe flash player plugin always crashes on youtube

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:

Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

Flash player crashes very often, especially watching videos on
Youtube. It's almost impossible to watch a video without having it
  crash a couple of times.

Switching full screen mode on and off, reloading a video, and video
buffering, seem to be a few things that increase the probability of
  crashing.

Additionally, the "send crash report" option almost always fails.
