[Bug 1362751] Re: powerdevil makes kded have 100% CPU
David, I think is another reason, not powerdevil. In my case the kded5 was using a 100% CPU since the start, and the file org.kde.powerdevil.backlighthelper.service solved the problem. When kded5 is sucking CPU like a crazy, do: 1-ps aux | grep kded5 (grab the pid) 2-sudo gdb --pid ${pid of the process here} 3-thread apply all bt And attach the output. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Kubuntu PPA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1362751 Title: powerdevil makes kded have 100% CPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/1362751/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
