[Bug 270328] Re: libpam-runtime uninitialized values
I didn't make any manual edits to the file but I have installed ecryptfs-utils which I now believe broke the file. My current ecryptfs-utils version is 53-1ubuntu8 I didn't try to enable the kerberos_example profile or run auth-client-config manually. Now, after reinstalling that ecryptfs-utils package, I managed to log again to my system which is why I believe it's related somewho to the problem. More important, now my common-auth is different. Hi This problem happened to me in an older version of kde before and I solved it. I am now running the new kde 4.1 so I cannot give accurate steps but just a hint. The problem is due to a filter generated by either anti-spam or might be the anti-virus tool. It created a filter that instead of checking for a size greater than x to run the filter, it checks for a size less than x or vice versa. If you open the filters, you can easily see the problem and just removing that culprit filter fixed it for me. Public bug reported: Hi, I am using ubuntu precise as a host and guest and launched kvm-spice but the guest is too slow. When I have the login screen of KDE, I entered my info and again too slow to display the icons on the splash and at the end logged me off. [Bug 902237] Re: kvm-spice is very slow to boot
It's still very slow unless one used the --enable-kvm. The option should be a default option for kvm and kvm-spice. If someone called qemu instead the option shouldn't be enabled by default. [Bug 902237] Re: kvm-spice is very slow to boot
It seems the errors are logged in the Xorg.0.log.old. Mostly, the problem is in the qxl display driver.
