Public bug reported: Ubuntu can't return from standby mode in the usual way. Probably something with the video card driver as a signal to the monitor from the video card does not arrive. Pressing the "reset" does not help. Installing an alternative video driver nvidia-331-updates does not lead to visible results: the system still does not return from sleep mode. I tested mainline kenel.
