[Bug 1561664] [NEW] Inappropriate search results in "Reference" panel in Dash.
Public bug reported: Search for "gedit" returns search results for "genital mutilation" and "genital wart" along with some rather X-rated pictures. I don't think this is something that Ubuntu wishes for people to see in the dash. I'm running 14.04.4 with everything updated. [Bug 987894] Re: Support GDM for switching users
I'm using LightDM and similar things happen for me. When I choose "lock screen" and then log back in all is well. If I however choose to switch to another user and try to log myself back in Ubuntu freezes or "half freezes", the desktop becomes unusable. This was not a problem with Beta2, but became a problem about a week ago probably for me. So I did a fresh install today with the final release and the problem was still there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987894 Title: Support GDM for switching users To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-session/+bug/987894/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 989470] [NEW] Desktop becomes unresponsive after switching users and logging back in
Public bug reported: I log into Ubuntu and everything works great. I then choose another user from the user menu. If I then log myself back in the desktop is unresponsive (or almost so, at least completely unusable). If I just choose to "lock screen" and log myself back in a few moments later all is well. This must be a Unity issue, it doesn't happen when I choose Unity2D at startup, neither does it happen with L/X/ubuntu.
