[Bug 1240400] Re: dialer-app crashed with SIGSEGV in __GI___pthread_mutex_lock()
A fix for that bug would hide the issue here, but we should not crash in that case. When the incoming call is accepted another session is created for another dialer-app which for some reason is not launched. The final crash happens in unity-mir ApplicationManager::suspendApplication application_manager.cpp:226 (initiated by the user switching applications or going back to phone shell/launcher) when it tries to defocus and suspend the session. I now try to investigate why the application session is invalid. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1240400 Title: dialer-app crashed with SIGSEGV in __GI___pthread_mutex_lock() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mir/+bug/1240400/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 111000] Re: Keyboard doesn't work within a java applet (Sun Secure Global Destop)
I can confirm this issue. I'm also running ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit. I am experiencing the same issue with the Oracle Secure Desktop mentioned. Using Firefox (version 27) and the IcedTea plugin for running applets. When logging in to the secure deskopt, the external desktop is displayed however the mouse/keyboard focus is never moved to the desktop window. At first I had the problem that the window displaying the external desktop was shown outside the actual dimensions of the active workspace. My guess was that mouse/keyboard issue was related to the incorrect display. I checked the Oracle support site for this. Oracle recommended adding the legacy support for full screen display using the compiz configuration manager. This solved the display issue by swapping the window with the remote desktop to full screen. However the mouse/keyboard is still not responding. Clicking and swithing back/forward between other applications does not resolve the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111000 Title: Keyboard doesn't work within a java applet (Sun Secure Global Destop) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sun-java5/+bug/111000/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 319146] Re: When a release reaches End-of-Life, update manager should show EoL status and provide a link with working procedures and more information.
I just encountered another instance of this bug - I got notified a few days ago that my releases (12.4) is EOLed, ant was offered to upgrade, since I couldn't attent the upgrade at that time, I chose to upgrade later and closed the update manager window. Now that I'm trying to upgrade I get an "Upgrade the 12.10 release" that essentially does nothing. Furtunately I know how to upgrade from the command line, so I'm only annoyed. but If I was a novice user I would be compleatly stuck. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319146 Title: When a release reaches End-of-Life, update manager should show EoL status and provide a link with working procedures and more information. [Bug 1280219] [NEW] AWS Marketplace Ubuntu AMI is not compatible with m3.large instances
Public bug reported: Hi, AWS has recently released 2 types of instances : m3.medium and m3.large, which seem to be the "new generation" after m1.medium and m1.large. [1] We wanted to upgrade our instance, based on a AWS Marketplace Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS [2], from m1.large to m3.large, but the following error occured: > "The instance configuration for this AWS Marketplace product is not > supported. Please see > http://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp?sku=drdu2rihnd8bagnjz0tfmp4mr for > more information about supported instance types, regions, and > operating systems." Indeed, the AWS marketplace listing for Ubuntu 10.04, and later, don't allow the new m3.large instance types. If there is no technical limitation, how could we get this listing updated ? Regards, [1] http://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2014/01/21/announcing-new-amazon-ec2-m3-instance-sizes-and-lower-prices-for-amazon-s3-and-amazon-ebs/ [2] https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B007IP9A5G/ref=srh_res_product_title?ie=UTF8&sr=0-2&qid=1392370038770 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1280219 Title: AWS Marketplace Ubuntu AMI is not compatible with m3.large instances To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1280219/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
