[SM-USERS] Check Mail not automatically refreshed
I'm running Squirrel Mail 1.4.20 on Ubuntu Server 10.04 The email I'm reading from is on a Windows XP Firefox 3.6.3 I'm testing the service now, and when I send myself an email from Outlook, to my Squirrel Mail account, both my left and right Frames don't refresh, that is my in-box unread email count does not refresh. I have to press check-mail to get the new count. Is there a way to automatically refresh this. Re: [SM-USERS] Check Mail not automatically refreshed
I'm going to kick myself in the proverbial behind. I left my tab open on my Squirrel Mail while I worked on other things. Half an hour later I comeback and In box showed 4 emails. My right frame with the list of emails though did not refresh. The left pane must be refreshing itself after a set number of minutes. Have you tried to simply leave your browser of tab open for a while, and come back to see if the in box counter changes? In the NewMail option I have the following Check all boxes, not just INBOX: Count only messages that are RECENT: Change title on supported browsers: (requires JavaScript to work) Show popup window on new mail: (requires JavaScript to work) Width of popup window: 200 (If set to 0, reverts to default value) Height of popup window:130 (If set to 0, reverts to default value) Enable Media Playing: Select server file:Friends.wav Current File: Friends.wav > Very good question. I was about to ask that :) > The 'unread email' count does not refresh even after clicking the inbox link from the left frame. Only 'Check mail' link and/or refreshing the whole page with F5 helps. > Is there any way to refresh that count by 'Inbox' link, too? > Kind Regards. > On Wed, May 19, 2010 at 20:23, wrote: >> I'm running Squirrel Mail 1.4.20 on Ubuntu Server 10.04 >> The email I'm reading from is on a Windows XP Firefox 3.6.3 >> I'm testing the service now, and when I send myself an email from Outlook, >> to my Squirrel Mail account, both my left and right Frames don't refresh, >> that is my in-box unread email count does not refresh. Re: [SM-USERS] Check Mail not automatically refreshed
There was a plugin (Folder Synch) that doesn't seem to work any more. I have it installed, but it doesn't seem to work. What it would do and I quote <>. It would only synchronize if you were on the message list. It hasn't been working for me for quite a while now. > On Wed, May 19, 2010 10:45, Andreas Gerdd wrote: >> Very good question. I just been to the Display Option, I don't see any Refresh Frame. Yep I did, and it looks fine. SquirrelMail configtest This script will try to check some aspects of your SquirrelMail configuration and point you to errors whereever it can find them. You need to go run conf.pl in the config/ directory first before you run this script. Re: [SM-USERS] Check Mail not automatically refreshed
Thanks, that did it, it's now synchronizing > http://yfrog.com/f1foldersyncp > Options are called > * Folder list update forces message list update: [] > * Message list update forces folder list update: [] > "Refresh frame" is not some link. You just have to reload left frame (light > blue page part in default SquirrelMail color theme) in order to make sure > that updated javascript is loaded. You can do that by clicking "(Check mail)" link or by using browser's reload commands. > Roberto Mason wrote: >> I just been to the Display Option, I don't see any Refresh Frame. Re: [SM-USERS] help
I'm not an expert, but I'd be curious to know, if you try a mail client like evolution or outlook, does are you able to send email? I'm assuming that you receive email, so you don't have a problem with your Mailbox. > Hai, > > We have a problem with our http://www.ksvn.nl/squirrelmail > > If we mail from there, the mail wil not reseve by the reserver?!?!??!
