[SM-USERS] ERROR : Connection dropped by imap-server

HI,

i just install qmail and squirrelmail 1.4.1, and i'm using courier imap. 
everything is OK but when login through the webmail.
if i enter a non-existant user such as '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' and the password 
'123', it will display error like

ERROR: 
ERROR : Connection dropped by imap-server.
Query: LOGIN "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" "123"

what's wrong with my squirrel ? or is this imap related problem ?

FYI: i can login normally if i enter correct use and password.

[SM-USERS] vpopmail plugins

hi,

i'm just curious, how to install vpopmail plugins without changing the apache 
user to vpopmail ? right now my apache is running as vpopmail (default from 
redhat is apache). if it's possible, i'd like to run my apache under user 
apache too after i install vpopmail.  thanx
