[SM-USERS] Tried to do a upgrade from squirrelmail-1.4.1-0.2.7.x.noarch.rpm to squirrelmail-1.4.2-1.noarch.rpm

2003-11-22 Thread Jon Miller
Tried to do a upgrade from squirrelmail-1.4.1-0.2.7.x.noarch.rpm to
squirrelmail-1.4.2-1.noarch.rpm
It keeps asking for a dependency that is already installed. Should I use the -f
(force) to make the upgrade happen?
error msg:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rpms]# rpm -Uvh squirrelmail-1.4.2-1.noarch.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
httpd is needed by squirrelmail-1.4.2-1

Using the following:
RH71
imap-2001a-1.71.0
php-imap-4.1.2-7.1.6
phpMyAdmin-2.1.0-1
php-4.1.2-7.1.6

[SM-USERS] mail problem

2003-11-27 Thread Jon Miller
I've just installed squirrelmail on a Linux server and although it's working, the
users dmain is wrong. We have a VPN with another client on the VPN and they have
their own mail domain. What is happening is when they go to send mail it has the
domain name of the main owner of the VPN not their domain.

ex:
userA is a member of domainA
domainB is the hub of the VPN, everthing comes and goes via this domain. domainB has
a postfix mail system that has a virutal.db running to send domainA it's mail. UserA
is sending mail via domainA mail server using SM. UserA mail address changes to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Does anyone have any ideal what has happened?

[SM-USERS] Strange occurence

2003-12-12 Thread Jon Miller
I've noticed that for a certain user whenever he tries to access SM it takes him at
lease 3 attempts. Are there any log files I can look at to try to troubleshoot this?

Thanks

[SM-USERS] login screen

2003-12-30 Thread Jon Miller
Client would like to change the login screen so they can put their banners (top and
left hand side) plus their logo when their users bring up the application. Which file
(s) do we need to change and are there certain size requirements that must be met?
