[SM-USERS] LAN-OK Internet -NO?!
Hello Everyone, I usually don't use lists but this thing is driving me nut for more than a week I have courier-imap running with Postfix, MySQL vusers. Sasld, famd and so on and so on everything is looking good ( I can login with telnet and even with SM from LAN) except that when I connect to the server from internet I have only one frame displayed either left or right (the right one more often). When I connect from LAN (the same subnet) everything looks normal? Is there a PHP time-out? Is possible to be the courier time-out (but it looks normal!?)? I think about time-out because it is the speed only difference between internet and the LAN (All needed ports are forwarded!)? Any idea? Thanks for your time! P.S. I am running Debian-testing (Sarge) and I did tried any possible SM versions from 1.2 to 1.5 (different packages and sourse) I think I had tried all possible config variation hum, did I? _ Is your PC infected? [SM-USERS] frames problem after courier
Hello everyone, I am having serious problems with my Squirrelmail and courier-imap. I had uw-imapd installed before and it was working perfectly until I decided to see how it is with virtual users and MySQL. So I fight for few days with courier, MySQL and famd and finally I got everything working and left my favorite (the most robust one till now) piece of software Squirrelmail for desert. But its not working!OK to the problem I have courier-imap installed and running I can telnet, login, read so on from it.I can login with Squirrelmail but I dont have the left frame! Or sometimes I have left but not the right frame I think the problem is in the courier because I tried any possible version of Squirrelmail with almost any possible configuration nothing the same result either left or right frame but not together (BTW I notice when I connect to the server trough LAN it is almost OK, well the second frame whichever it happened to be is slower) I think it is some time-out in the courier-imap but not sure Is there anyone who had the same problem? Sorry if I am repeating some topic Thanks P.S. I ended up with Squirrelmail 1.5 version from Debian-testing (sarge) and configuration from http://www.squirrelmail.org (courier specific). _ Get rid of annoying pop-up ads with the new MSN Toolbar FREE! http://toolbar.msn.com/go/onm00200414ave/direct/01/ --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies. Re: [SM-USERS] use addresses button dissapear
Hi Paul, Thank you for your response. herewith i attached the use address button screen that i mentioned below. I'm now using 1.4.17 from source and the symptoms was just the same. The user use HTML as the address book display format. the only php error that i found in log is like this: PHP Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of method_exists(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in /var/www/babel.lib/HTML/class.txt2html.php on line 52, referer: http://domain/webmail/src/compose.php Regards, Ivan From: Paul Lesniewski To: Squirrelmail User Support Mailing List Sent: Saturday, March 21, 2009 4:06:44 PM Subject: Re: [SM-USERS] use addresses button dissapear On Fri, Mar 20, 2009 at 9:47 PM, Squirrel Blue wrote: > Hi All, > One of user (user A) reported that when he composed message and want to use > his address book, he couldn't found use address book button when he wanted > to attached someone's address from there. > i created new user (user B), add new address into address book (created 5 > address), and I still can see that button. but when i copied his userA.abook > to this new user (user B) that I just created, the sympton was the same.
