[SM-USERS] Patching Problem.
have installed my perl under following instructions via port method (freebsd). http://freebsd.qmailrocks.org/qmailscanner.htm#nosetuid Now When ever i try to patch squirrelmail file like we do for Compatibility plugin i got an error # $ patch -p0 < compatibility/patches/compatibility_patch-1.4.5.diff # $ command not found. Also when I issue use.perl port i got same error # use.perl port # use.perl command not found Any idea i need to patch squirrelmail files in order to install required plugins. __ Yahoo! [SM-USERS] can't open config.php
I am unbale to save any changes via squirrelmail administration panel. I am getting an error that "Config file can't be opened. Please check config.php" What kind of permisions i need to change. [SM-USERS] Change ldap password
I am using squirrelmail 1.4.5 with compatibility 2.0.4
plugin. I need to work changeldappasswd plugin 1.8, I
installed it but it dont working just a blank page
appears when ever click on change password from
options menu.
Here is my config.php
$ldap_server = "localhost";
$ldap_password_field = "userPassword";
$ldap_user_field = "uid";
$ldap_base_dn = "dc=xyz,dc=com";
$query_dn = "manager" ;
$query_pw = "password" ;
$no_bind_as_user = 1 ;
$ldap_bind_as_manager = 1;
$ldap_manager_dn="cn=manager,$ldap_base_dn";
$ldap_manager_pw="password";
I am using {SHA} password scheme for ldap users.
How can i work it possible.

PHP 4.3.11 (cgi) php.ini has all default valuse except display_erros On My Squirrelmail is nothing modified it just patched by Compatibility Plugin needed by changeldappasswd. Thanks you are realy helpful, I got installed every thing and now php is supporting ldap. Now I am getting this error. LDAP bind failed. I think this is related to config.php or slapd.conf, BTW i dont have any read,write permisions in slapd.conf, every thing is default. I checked it and it is not {SHA} encrypted.I want

[SM-USERS] Unable to send mail after IP change.
After changing server ip address i am getting this error on sending mails from squirrelmail web intrface. Command not implemented Server replied: 502 unimplemented (#5.5.1) While I can send mails from outlook. I remmeber I do not define actual ip address of qmail installation. Any plugin to show account consumtion (total qouta and currently used qouta) in user mailbox. user able to create/delete modify mail forward and alternate addresses. user can configure vocation message or auto reply.
