Hello

Is there a difference clicking the sign out link or killing the browser's

Many students here just close their browser instead of

what would be the side effect of this (bad ?) practice ?

[SM-USERS] UW imap and passwd problem ?

2005-01-09 Thread Frank Bonnet
Hi
I've setup a test machine with squirrelmail and UW imapd and I have
trouble to log in.

I think the problem is UW imapd is compiled and configured by default
not to accept cleartext passwds transactions

the box run FreeBSD 5.3 with pam_ldap and nss_ldap to authenticate users
onto our main LDAP server, it works if I log in from the console of
thru SSH without problem.

Do I have to recompile and reconfigure UW imapd that it accept cleartext
passwds to be able to use squirrelmail with it ?

Thanks a lot.
