[SM-USERS] Very Old emails

2014-05-13 Thread Jamal Wilson
I would like to know if it is possible access old emails on the squirrel mail
server. I am a former client and I need to access emails from 2009 is this
possible? My account is no longer active. Can I pay for a service to access
these emails? Thank you

If the emails are still stored, of course you can access them.

Squirrelmail does not limit this. The email service you use may erase old
messages and/or limit the total storage for each user.

2014-05-13 Thread JMW
Thank you for your response. How do I move forward and check if squirrel mail
still has these old emails on their severs. I don't have access or login to
that email account anymore. We cancelled service in 2009.

Hi Jamal M. Wilson

I think you're mistaken. SquirrelMail is a piece of software - not a
hosting service. You should contact the organization responsible for the
hosting.

See for more information.

Sincerely,
Fredrik

Re: [SM-USERS] Very Old emails

2014-05-13 Thread André Z . D . A .
I think you should check this with the mail provider.

In my opinion, your question does not involve a Squirrelmail problem or usage
issue. Squirrelmail is just the system the provider uses (or used at 2009).
Think of Squirrelmail simply as a program that gives us access to some mail
service.

Regards

This one's unrelated

The subject is malformed. =w6 is not valid quoted printable. Looks
like other clients might be substituting + for = as a fix, which you
can do by hand to see the subject get displayed. The right fix is to
address it at the source.
