The mail_fetch plugin, if that's the one you're referring to, saves
all of its preferences with your other user preference data. Its
settings are prefixed with "mailfetch_"

Thanks! It doesn't seem to show up on this server which has working
fetchmail:

[root@louise prefs]# locate mailfetch
[root@louise prefs]#

[root@louise prefs]# locate mail_fetch
/usr/share/doc/squirrelmail-1.4.20/plugins/mail_fetch
/usr/share/doc/squirrelmail-1.4.20/plugins/mail_fetch/README
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/class.POP3.php
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/config_example.php
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/fetch.php
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/functions.php
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/index.php
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/options.php
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/mail_fetch/setup.php
[root@louise prefs]#

More ideas?

THANKS!

[SM-USERS] [SPAM] Re: fetch mail plugin data location?

2012-01-02 Thread Curtis Rubel

I do not mean to step on anyone toes here just
wanting to see if this is post needs some clarification
or not as to what the term data refers to:

Are you referring to the users mail data or users
custom settings data?

If its the email data itself, thats kept in the mail servers Inbox
or on the users computer depending on settings set for each
individual user. Thats of course if this plug-in acts like
a normal POP client does which I think it does, just been
awhile since I used it.

I gave you the prefix of preference setting names that are found
inside user preference stores - nothing to do with file names. See
also Curtis' reply.

Ah, I see it now. Thanks! For some reason that file did not get copied
over. Are the pref file formats the same between versions 1.4.20-2 and
1.4.22-2?

Thanks!

Harold

I have no way of knowing. Those are not SquirrelMail version numbers.

The preference formats for SquirrelMail versions 1.4.20 and 1.4.22
should be the same, but for help with whatever re-packaging of our
code you are using, you should contact your vendor.

Thanks! This Fedora 11 and Fedora 16. The prefs seem to work when copied
over, except for fetchmail. I'll dig further.

I really appreciate the help.

Thanks!

Harold
