Re: [SM-USERS] Disable Mark Read function?
It may be that the gmail server does not add the \seen correctly. When I select the message in squirrelmail and click the Read button on the message list, it does mark read. Is their a way to make squirrelmail add the tag itself when I view the message? If this is too dificult, I will try to contact google and tell them to fix their IMAP server. I am also going to try my regular imap client and see if I have the same problem there. If I do , I will complain to them anyway. This is normal, and is not a SquirrelMail issue. Most mail software encodes binary files in order to enable them to travel as e-mail attachments. That encoded file is often up to 50% larger than the size of the encoded file on the HD. So, your example of 15 MB becoming an encoded 19 MB seems quite normal. - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ - squirrelmail-users mailing list Posting guidelines: http://squirrelmail.org/postingguidelines List address: squirrelmail-users@lists.sourceforge.net List archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.mail.squirrelmail.user List info (subscribe/unsubscribe/change options): https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users
[SM-USERS] Disable Mark Read function?
Hi, I am using squirrelmail v1.4.7 with gmail imap. Because gmail automatically marks messages read when they are opened ove imap, squirrelmail somehow undoes it so when you read a message, it is not marked read. Is it possible to modify squirrelmail so it does not mark a message as read when you read it? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Disable-Mark-Read-function--tp19242576p19242576.html Sent from the squirrelmail-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ - squirrelmail-users mailing list Posting guidelines: http://squirrelmail.org/postingguidelines List address: squirrelmail-users@lists.sourceforge.net List archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.mail.squirrelmail.user List info (subscribe/unsubscribe/change options): https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users
