I just took me a while that I had to unpack it in the webserver DocumentRoot area. However, I cannot connect to my qmail server. It says Error 111 Connection refused on the SM login page. I set the smtp:25 and IMAP:143 server to the qmail server using the SM configure. Set your default_pref in your preferences folder. You're looking for "order1", "order2", etc. "6" appears to be the one for size. So your default_pref might for example contain the lines order1=1 order2=2 order3=3 order4=5 order5=4 order6=6 This says that column 6 contains the 6/size column. -- Kurt Yoder Sport & Health network administrator --- This SF.net email is sponsored by: VM Ware With VMware you can run multiple operating systems on a single machine. I don't recall which version of Squirrelmail you have. Start with that. Ensure you are at the latest revisions. Advising you what to do at ths point could take a lot of time and effort. PHP is a moving target, especially if you use a lot of different PHP development code like I do. Like Squirrelmail, Horde/Imp, PHPthis_program and PHP_that_program you get the picture. > My server is also running gentoo. Not that I recommend using it sight unseen... I do not use the squirrelmail ebuild in gentoo. I have two SM trees. one for generic 1.4.1 and the other for CVS 1.4.2 I think. Note that: If you emerge sync then emerge -Up mod_php but dont see at least the versions shown above, you will have to put ~x86 in your ACCEPT_KEYWORDS directive in /etc/make.conf. Doing this though will allow you to emerge 'unstable' ebuilds, so proceede with extreme caution. Suggest you test on a non production server first. Make liberal use of emerge -Up pkgname to determine just what will be replaced with what :-) Make sure you have mysql amd Imap in your USE flags and config SM to use mysql where possible. There are probably others you need as well so consult your USE flag docs for more info. You setup and adjust the php error logs and what they output in the php.ini file. If you emerge the standalone php (emerge php) there will be 2 seperate php.ini files, maybe even three if you have both 1.3.x and 2.x apache emerged. So make sure you change the right one! I usually create symlinks to ensure I'm using the same one. Good luck. Ron --- This SF.net email is sponsored by: VM Ware With VMware you can run multiple operating systems on a single machine.
