If you had 1.2.x already working, then double check your configuration options and read the help pages on the SquirrelMail website. Although the plugin was supposedly updated some time ago to work with the new SM_PATH constant, it appears that this change was either not thorough, or done a long time ago... The following error presents when I try to delete a message from the current folder: INBOX screen by selecting the message and deletinging (button under TRansform select messages) ERROR : Could not complete request. [SM-USERS] Preference database error (connect failed). Exiting abnormally
Hi everyone =) I have been using about 6 months squirrelmail 1.2.11 and now updated to 1.4.0 (rpm version), database is MySQL. >From the beginning i have been reveiving every now and then following error when i have tried to log in : --- Preference database error (connect failed). Exiting abnormally --- Normally two-three reloads will help but sometimes you have to bang reload 10 times to get squirrelmail to work. That is not so big problem but frustrating to explain that allways to users. If someone have had same problems and found a fix for that i would appreciate =) I dont thinks this is straight connected to Squirrelmail but it is only software that gives error with database. Could somekind of timeout preferences be too short ? [SM-USERS] Common plugins question
I just upgraded to 1.4.0 and everything works except when working with plugins that should be compatible with 1.4.0 I have a common message when installing some plugins (ie. Fatal error: Failed opening required 'SM_PATHfunctions/global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /www/webmail/functions/strings.php on line 15) and (Fatal error: Failed opening required '../src/validate.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /www/webmail/plugins/change_pass/options.php on line 9) Any ideas?
