[slurm-users] Accounting: Default Associations for Unknown Accounts
Hello, we think about switch to SLURM. Currently we grant access to the cluster using a active directory group, everyone in this group is allowed to run jobs. So the users are not known to the SLURM accounting database. Is it possible to automatically add every new user to an default account without manually adding the user with "sacctmgr add user user123 Account=test". Regards Ulf

Hello all, thank you very much for your answers. So there is no out of the box solution, I thought I missed something. From the answers I get the impression that some of you are facing similar challenges. So in case we want to start using slurm we have to either change our process or build a script to assign the users. @Jess: Yes we will go for commercial support if we decide for it. Thanks Ulf

At the slurmdbd.log, I see [2021-03-03T10:31:46.929] error: slurm_pack_list: size limit exceeded The stack limit for user slurm are set via systemd LimitMEMLOCK=infinity LimitSTACK=infinity Are there other config options we have to look at?
