[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] Translations of "doesn't" (Issue #5432)
There are issues with this sentence: `What it %{doesnt} include is opinionated data like ratings, historical or hypothetical features, and data from copyrighted sources. They use this list of links to decide where they will go. But if many of the links in that list simply say "click here" or "more" they will be unable to use this feature in their screen reader, which is a core navigation strategy. That's why it's a failure of 2.4.9 to not provide any way of allowing them to know the destination from the link text alone. It is also true for people who tab through links. If all they hear as they tab through the document is "click here, click here, click here etc." they will become confused._ -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/5431 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread. [openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] My user experience with number of changes on a changeset list (Issue #5770)
maro-21 created an issue (openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website#5770) The number showing the number of changes and the number showing the number of comments look almost the same and are hard to read and distinguish because they are in the same place. I think it is too much information to show the number of changes in the changeset list. For people like me who have been using OSM for years, this is unreadable and it makes impossible to see which changesets have comments. What value does this information add to the Changes History? Are 20 changes a lot or a little? Why do we need so many numbers? This information could better be in the changeset itself, not in the list. And it's not there, which is strange. As a person who has been reviewing the list every day for several years, I find the number of changes irrelevant. Or more accurately: it doesn't matter on this list. Noticing the changesets that have some comments is important, but now I don't see them. In addition, the previous font and icon showing that the changeset has some comments was larger, now it is smaller, this is a change to the downside. Whether the changeset has a comment is now almost invisible!!! To sum up - reviewing changes is now more difficult and cumbersome. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/5770 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread. [openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] changesets: addresses buildings on the list (Issue #6092)
maro-21 created an issue (openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website#6092) In changesets, the recently added display of the building address instead of the way number itself is using the `addr:housenumber` `addr:street` scheme. In my language the order is reversed - first there is the street name and then the house number. It should be possible for translators to change this. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/6092 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread. [openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] What is aria-label? (Issue #6195)
maro-21 created an issue (openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website#6195) I'm trying to translate messages on Translatewiki and there are such strings: * `Diary Entry` * `Comments` * `Date` but I don't see what are they used for. I found that they are probably used on users profiles who have diary entries, for example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/SomeoneElse/ In the source of this page I can see * `aria-label="Diary Entry"` * `aria-label="Comments"` * `aria-label="Date"` But I can see them only in the source, not on the page. Is it some kind of alt text for the icons? After copying whole text, icons are not replaced by this text and it's neither a hover text. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/6195 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
