PyCon UK 2012 - Call for talks Please forward this email to relevant lists, social networks, etc. PyCon UK 2012, the UK's official Python conference, returns from the 28th September to 1st October, Coventry UK. This volunteer run and organised conference includes sprints, training, open space and social events. For more information please see our site at pyconuk.org and our wiki at pyconuk.net If you would like to share your expertise, tell us your horror stories or pimp your project, please consider giving a talk at PyConUK. Your talk should reflect at least one of our four themes ( http://pyconuk.net/Themes ). When planning your talk, it should be no more than 40 minutes. Please email us the following: Your name A contact number A one paragraph biography The title of your talk A short one paragraph abstract Which theme (or themes) your talk can be categorised under. If we accept your talk, we would also require a longer abstract in order to create a wiki page. To submit a talk, please email [email protected] before Tuesday 14th August 2012. If you have already given us your talks, and had confirmation from John or Zeth, then ignore this message, but we still need the data in the wiki if it is not already there. Hello! PyConUK 2012, the UK Python Conference, is taking place in Coventry from Friday 28th September to Monday 1st October. That is only two weeks away! Everyone is welcome from complete beginners through to experienced experts. The core is on Saturday and Sunday so if you cannot get time off work, you will still get all the key parts of the conference. PyCon UK 2011 - 24th to 25th September 2011 - Conference Announcement and Booking details
The UK's official Python conference returns. It is aimed at everyone in the Python community, of all skill levels, from beginners to core developers. The conference will be held on the 24th to 25th September 2011, in the TechnoCentre Coventry (CV1 2TT). The conference is not-for-profit and community-run by volunteers. It is your conference so you can give a talk, lead a workshop or help with publicity - see our wiki for more details. In particular, it would help a lot if you can forward this announcement to your Python-using friends and colleagues and relevant mailing lists, or link to our website on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and so on. Booking is open now. The ticket cost for the weekend is £95 which includes access to all sessions, lunches, refreshments, the exclusive PyCon UK T-shirt and the unmissable conference dinner (Concession rate is £75). Next Meeting: 9th November
Hello all, We are rebooting the original Python user group, Python West Midlands, yay! Our first event is on Saturday 9th November 2019 in Birmingham city centre. The event is open to all levels, from never programmed before through to professional developers and Python core developers. Bring your laptop if you have one. We will have short Talks in the morning by some of the leading Python developers in the West Midlands followed by a collaborative project in the afternoon. EuroPython 2010 --- EuroPython is a conference for the Python programming language community, including software written in Python such as Django, Zope and so on. It is aimed at everyone from beginners through to core developers. This year EuroPython will be held from the 17th to 24th July in Birmingham, UK.
